Answer:	I'm not exactly sure that I understand what is meant by a "metal hose". What I can tell you is that the hose must be relatively flexible and shouldn't weigh more than a typical rubber hose. The tractor will travel atop of the hose, and must be able to drag this same hose behind it as it moves along.

Can this hose be used on a manual hand operated grease gun

Answer:

If you're referring to the actual Lumax LX-1201 Black 12" 1/8" NPT 4500 PSI Thermoplastic Grease Hose, it does not have a Zerk Adapter - it is just a hose. However, both ends are threaded in "standard" male 1/8"NPT. In my case, I removed the Zerk Adapter from the new Grease Gun (which did not have a hose) and screwed it onto one end of the Lumax hose; then I screwed the other end of the Lumax hose to the grease gun.
