Answer:	The Extech MO50 takes quick Moisture level reference measurements (in percent %) on wood and building materials. The measurement range for building materials is Low: 1.5% to 16.9%; Medium: 17% to 19.9%; High: 20 to 33%. If the expected moisture percentage of the paper is expected to fall at or above 1.5% then the MO50 Compact Pin Moisture Meter would work appropriately.

Answer:	Thank you so much for your interest in our products. The MO53 is able to detect moisture at 0.8''. For the application you mention, I believe you can be interested in a different meter. From FLIR, we can suggest the MR176 using the MR12 ball probe. That will help you to get almost 4'' depth in the material.
Question:	The ad says "no more lifting." The directions say keep the supplying and receiving tanks at the same level. So what gives? Which is it
Answer:	Expect you would have to push the meter probes through the paint layer to get a good reading.
Question:	can this pump gas out of a car
Answer:	It really only measures moisture that is within 1/2" of the surface. For example I have a leaky toilet in a bathroom and the subfloor is saturated with water. I have to push the prongs through the surface of the flooring until it reaches the wet subfloor, in order to get a reading. If you need something for reading deep within a wall, you will need an invasive meter which has really long prongs that can be fed through test holes that you drill into the affected area. If you want to test deep within areas such as several inches, the only way is through destructive inspection, pinless moisture meters, and in some cases infrared cameras. extech is one of the most trusted meter brands and I am very happy with my purchase. It works best for measuring the moisture content of wood specifically at the test location. If there was a flood and the surface appears dry but you have some suspension as to what's going on several inches into the wall cavity, this meter will not help.

How to Operate

1. Find the adapter that is the best fit and make sure it is fastened tightly to your supply tank
2. Insert intake hose through the adapter and fasten the pump's joint nut tightly
3. Attach the discharge hose to your receiving tank using the clip, make sure the discharge nozzle is in a vertical position
4. Start the flow of fuel by pressing the ON button
5. After automatically stopping, bring the discharge hose up above the tank to drain the excess fuel or liquid back into the supply tank
6. put the discharge nozzle in discharge nozzle compartment and lock into place with clip

Answer:	If you are referring to the belly tank on the trailer for the reefer, it should work for that. Keep in mind that the lift will be governed by the discharge hose so the worst case scenario would be to set the supply tank on a raised block of some sort. Thanks,
Question:	Is there a adapter to fit a gas caddy or gas walker
Answer:	I fill my boat......the gas can is on dock, the boats gas fill is a foot or two above top of gas can. The pump works fine. What they are saying is you can't take the gas hose, go straight up with the hose to fill something 4 feet higher than gas can. When people say no lifting, what they mean is they are not standing over what they are filling, holding gas can while pouring gas in. If I want to fill my portable generator, the gas fill on it is approx. 3 feet off ground. I will take my 6 gal. gas can with pump, and lift it up and set it on a milk crate, or my shop stool, or whatever brings gas can up and can support it safely. I then take pump hose and put in generator, press button and walk away. I'm not standing over generator holding gas can and pouring gas in. That's what no lifting means.

Answer:	No the suction tube on this pump can not remove gas from a car. Only way it MIGHT be possible, is if the fuel tank was dropped down from the vehicle and the pump was inserted from where the float for the fuel tank is located on top.

Answer:	You have to order the right model to get one that can change suction tube length. The TREP03 does not change length.

Answer:	I have the version that can plug in, or connect to 12V battery. Has the nozzle control. Thus far, shutting off at nozzle, then lifting up and opening the nozzle again has allowed most all of the gas back into the can. It won't drain back without gravity helping! Once the hose has drained, I keep the nozzle open and lift the pump mostly out of the can to get everything out that is possible. Not perfect, but not too bad in terms of residual if you tap the pump to get rid of excess fluids retained.

How to Operate

1. Immerse the suction end of the pump into the liquid (ex. Gas Can)
2. Insert the handle into a container to receive the liquid
3. Turn the pump on. Caution: Do Not over fill the container. Avoid pumping liquid to a container higher than the pump's motor housing
4. When finished, keep the pump upright and lift the handle above the pump mechanism to drain any liquid back into the original container. Do Not lay pump down until all liquid has been drained from the tube and pump.
5. Run water through the pump after using it with any other liquid. This will rinse the interior and extend the life of the pump.

Question:	Will the large cap fit flow fast with id 2 1/2" od 3"? how do you order the extra long length
Answer:	Hi Alice,While it is possible to extend the hose, doing so will void any listings that the pump might have (such as UL) as well as the warranty. There is a sensor at the end of the hose that shuts the pump off when the container/tank being filled is full. There are wires attached to this sensor extending back to the control head. Extending the hose would require extension of the wires as well.Don't get me wrong, it would be nice to have a longer delivery hose. Maybe the vendor will take note and design a more practical version!
Question:	Does it seal good enough to be left on the fuel jug
Answer:	There may be, but it’s not designed for something that tall. The pick up is in the end of the hose that goes into the container. It’s not possible to extend it. I believe it was designed for the 5 gallon gas cans. I don’t think it’s a good fit for a gas caddy that holds 30 gallons and is significantly taller.
Question:	will this work with ethanol E85-E90? and how long will it last using that type of fuel
Answer:	No. I use the pump to fuel my boat from a gas can. I place the can on the floor of the boat and pump fuel up about two feet to the fuel fill on the boat.

Answer:	The hose that goes from the pump to the car gas tank is about 26" long and by itself, would not reach. If you buy this and then go to a hardware store or Lowes or Home Depot and buy a 2' - 3' piece of plastic hose and tape it to the end, it should work fine. I use my pump often and am please with it.

Question:	Would it work to fill 1 gallon containers with diesel out of a larger tank? if it doesn't come out smoothly the diesel foams up
Answer:	I used it only for Water so far, works really well
Question:	Can this be used for watering plants? If I only use it for water, why can't it be used for drinking water
Answer:	You can probably use it for watering plants. However, I would not recommend using it for drinking water as it might have some chemical residue that could be harmful and/or give the drinking water a bad taste.
Question:	Can you leave gas can on the ground and out the end into the gas tank hole? Says like
Answer:	No that is not recommend. In fact The instructions indicates this pump is not powerful enough to lift fuel with a discharge tube raised over 15 in from the suction tube end. Work a lot better if you keep the gas can level with the gas tank... You can place the can on a chair or something to raise it up. It will last longer and work much better. I hope this helps.
Question:	does it pump from a vehicle to can
Answer:	No unfortunately the pump is too large to fit into the gas opening otherwise it has plenty of power to transfer the fuel.

Question:	can I use this to transfer milk from a holding tank into bottles? can i clean the tubes easily after
Answer:	In my experience ...yes. Holding the hose vertical for a few seconds drains the residual back into the can.
Question:	Does this need gravity to work or does a motor draw it up out of the fuel can
Answer:	I've used my Tera pump twice to fill my Pontoon boat from a five gallon can. Each time, I stopped the pump after 3 minutes to prevent overheating the mechanism (even though the pump never got warm). I emptied the five gallon can in about five minutes. This pump is awesome.
Question:	I have a 330 gallon tote that I use to water the garden. I want to add enough pressure to operate a sprinkler. Will it push enough water
Answer:	It pumps at one speed but the one-off switch is like a push button and responds to off quickly. Any gas left in the line drains back into the can when the nozzle is raised higher then the can. I used it all summer (about 75 gallons of gas) on a boat and didn't spill a drop.
Question:	Do they sell other adapters? Two were too small tans one was too large
Answer:	I’m sure you can. It pumps gasoline easily and the DEF fluid is water I think

• Find the adapter that is the best fit and make sure it is fastened tightly to your supply tank

Question:	why can't this be used for potable water
Answer:	This Tera pump LX I have only used once since I had it, but this is my second one. The first I have had for over two years and it was a shorter hose and not the LX version. The older one i still use, but the pump seems to pump slower after long usage (2 Years for me). I use it to pump premium fuel never used it for any other type of petroleum. It's a fast pump for a 5 gallon tank, about 2-3 minutes wish the price was slightly lower.
Question:	Can you add to the intake and discharge hose lengh
Answer:	Yes, I’ve only used mine for awhile now with E85 and it works fine.
