The EK-Leak Tester is a fast and safe way of testing for possible leaks in your liquid cooling loop. While traditional leak testing works, it requires hours before very small leaks are detected and then things can become messy. The EK-Leak Tester does the job almost instantly!

The main body is a solid piece of CNC machined aluminum. One end is fitted with a revolvable male G1/4" connection port so it can be directly screwed into any standard port in your liquid cooling loop. The gauge is custom made for liquid cooling loop testing purposes which clearly marks the safe pressure for testing. The other side of the tester is hooked up with a valve which will make sure that no air is escaping through the tester unit itself. The small pump for pressurizing the loop is also included.

In order to prevent damage to your liquid cooling loop, keep the pressure only in the predefined zone marked on the gauge. Please read the user manual before using the EK-Leak Tester!

Keep in mind that the pre-defined safe maximum pressure defined on the gauge is for EK products only. EK cannot guarantee for non-EK products failing under the predefined safe zone marked on the gauge.

I use them for LED lights.It is possible that a meter does not have good sensitivity in the wave length of the light that is being emitted, but my sense is that it is more likely that the LED light you are measuring is putting out fewer foot candles.

Answer:	The way I understand it is it depends on the type of light source. If your light is considered blurple, it won't read it right. If your lights are on the white to yellowish side ot will work fine

Answer:	It is made in China. Info from general tools inc. We could never build an instrument this cheaply in U.S.

Answer:	ABSOLUTELY! This is just what you need, it tells you the exact moisture where the contacts touch the wood. There is a small button on the face right under the word GENERAL that allows you to pick wood or concrete. I use it on our Maple flooring in the summer to see where we are with water content.
Question:	What is the scale range
Answer:	It won't show thru the cement unless it is wet. Also is the wall an exterior wall & you could be getting moisture there. With the paint bubbling you do have a water problem from some where inside or out, but you could check with the tool on the inside in the wall real low next to the cement. It worked real well for my particular problem without tearing up the carpet to find my problem. Hope this helps.
Question:	Does this work on gypsum board- material used in mobile home walls
Answer:	I only have the one device so there is no way I could confirm accuracy, but it told me what I needed to know when dealing with a flooded basement. It seemed consistent following 40-50 measurements at levels from 5.5 to 30.8. I got a 5.8 on a several dry studs in the basement and mail level of the house. Sorry I can't be more help.

Answer:	Nathan, Thanks for the question. The Moisture Range on this Hand Held meter for CORN is 10 - 40%. However, the clear plastic funnel which is provided to assist with consistent filling of the test cell, will not work well on corn over say 25 - 30%. This is due to the lack of flowability in the higher moisture content. I would suggest that you still fill the funnel, but pour the sample back out the large end at just 1 - 2" above the test cell. EVERY TIME and at the same Rate. With this consistency, you would have much greater repeatability between different tests. Answer:	The way you are thinking is by building your whole loop, while that will work, if you do end up having a leak it'll be a pain to find it. Testing individually would by pumping up each block/pump/reservoir/radiator individually as to isolate and possible leaks immediately. If you use the one by one method I'd conduct another test once its all built.

Plus, the moisture meter has audible high, medium, low alerts so you will be able to hear the level even if you are in a dark or awkward space where you can’t see the screen. The sturdy, ergonomic shape and rubber side grips allow for comfort even when using for multiple measurements. Every moisture meter also feature a hold function to freeze a reading to read later, auto power off and a low battery indicator. Every package includes extra 0.3 in. (8mm) stainless steel pins, a protective cap that doubles as a calibration checker and a “9V” battery.

Answer:	As far as i can tell the probes are about 3/8 long. The are metal, and have a plastic cover to protect them and you when not in use. The cap can also be flipped over once taken off, to help check device itself, for calibration. They are replaceable. They actually come with an extra set of pins (probes). Hope this helps.
