Answer:	I recently change the breake pads front and rear on my eddie bauer explorer this jack worked perfectly. it lifted both wheels in front no problem, lifted it in the middle between the wheels used a block of wood between the jack head and the cross member of the chasis, did not even use the extender on front or rear. Exelent jack. Yes extender can be removed.

Answer:	No, there isn't. But a longer neck would be dangerous because the higher the neck, the less stable the jack base. You can increase its lift by putting the jack wheels on a board or a plank on the ground; for example, a 2" by 6" by 30" long board would give you almost 2 more inches in height as well as maintaining a stable base. This is not a heavy duty jack to begin with; it's small with a narrow and small footprint. More weight and a higher lift reveal its stability problems very quickly. I hope this helps.

HOW TO REGISTER & UPDATE?

Step 1: Go to LAUNCH official website(refer to the "user manual" in the "Technical Specification "section of product webpage) and click Updating Tool Download icon.

Step 2: Download and install the CRP123 update tool and launch the program when installed.

Step 3: You will be prompted to type in the serial # (located on the back of the tool)

Step 4: Hit [Device Upgrade] to enter the register page, type your email info (check the "Register Code" on the device menu "Help--Tool Information" ).

Note: the “User password” is equal to the “Register Code.”

First, Update is not necessary. If you really need to update. Here are the steps:

1. Visit foxwell official website.

2. Register the website with your email address.

3. Download the update tool-Foxassist.

4. Unzip the application file and follow the instructions to install the application and driver.

5. Launch the Foxassist application and log in with your registered email.

6. Remove the TF card from your NT614 scanner and put it into the card reader and plug it into your computer(windows only, ios is not supported)

7. Open the interface of Foxassist, select Activate and input serial number which in the rear of your NT614 tool.

8. Select Download and choose the car makes you need. (Not all car makes are necessary, please select the car makes you indeedy need. )

TWO MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS: EPB & OIL SERVICE DUE RESET

Oil Light Reset menu allows you to reset the service lamps on the instrument cluster. The Service Indicator System is designed to alert the driver when the vehicle is due for a service. Oil service reset methods are determined by the vehicle being tested.

● Oil Reset With One Button - applicable to GM models only. It offers quick and simple oil service reset with the click of one button.

● Manual Reset - almost all Asian vehicles and most American and European vehicles have mechanical oil service indicator reset. 1. Visit FOXWELL WEB and find Foxwell NT614 Elite.

2. Download Update Tool FoxAssist, and install it in your windows(MAC is not supported currently) is laptop/desktop.

3. Open FoxAssist and register an account.

4. Connect your NT614 Elite with your computer via the USB cable and click update menu in your NT614 Elite. Or remove the memory card inside and put it into the card reader, then plug the card reader into computer.

5. Select Activate and input serial number in FoxAssist app.

6. Choose the car makes and wait for the downloads untill the process completed. Data manager can also be used to print all the data, screenshots you saved.

Please note, Foxwell NT614 Elite is updated on the NEW Foxwell website and NEW update tool.

Batteries for this tool are not needed as well. Batteries are optional and are only used to pair tool to Bluetooth/Wifi without being linked to vehicle, and to look at stored information in tool if not connected to vehicle.
