Answer:	Mine came with thumbscrews (bolts) that have a 1/4" thread size and a 1/2" shoulder on the bolt. The battery lug is about 1/2" in diameter and is tapped for the bolt. The battery lug is almost flush with the top of the battery.

Answer:	not familiar with the sump pump system. If it is 12 v dc. I have run almost continuously a 55 lb trolling motor on it for over 4 hours and it still had power.

Answer:	doesn't anybody realize this is an electrical item and in order to answer these questions we first need to know the amperage or watts that your device uses and then AND ONLY THEN you can answer all these questions. Take the amperage draw of your device and multiply it by the hours you will use the device per day and this will give you the amp-hour rating of the battery you will need to run your device for a day. Make sure you multiply the answer by two since you don't want to discharge the battery more than 50% to extend its life. I can't believe that the people who own these electric trolling motors do not know the amp draw and refer to them by pounds thrust. This does not answer the question of what size battery you need for a specific run time per day, hour or various days.

Answer:	I no longer recommend Optima batteries. The manufacturer cheapened the components and raised the price. They now last no longer than other, less expensive batteries. In 2008 they would last 12 to 14 years. By 2014, they lasted about 2 years and cost $267. But my 2008 Optimas in my boat still work perfectly.

Answer:	Be careful buying batteries from Amazon. My blue top died in 16 months in my boat, and it was hooked up to a battery maintainer the entire time. Optima does not consider Amazon an authorized dealer, so its up to a local Optima dealer if they will honor the warranty. Fortunately a local dealer helped me out, and the replacement battery has been great for 3 years now. Just FYI.

Answer:	The answer is way too many. 220 volts at 3.49 amps means 64 amps at 12 volts, which is the very near the 66 amp rating of the battery. Since the battery should never be drained below 50%, the answer is you would need two to run your motor for 1 hour, or 24 to run it for 12 hours. You'd be better off looking at some 8D lithium batteries. They hold 255 amps and can be run down to 20% of capacity. Please note it would be cheaper to run a generator.

Answer:	Never buy this battery from Amazon. Amazon sent me a worthless battery, does not take it back, and does not refund your money. Find a dealer who will give you a warranty, and replace it if they sell you a dud. Learn from my expensive mistake. That's the only advice that really counts. (For me, I bought a great marine battery from Costco, and brought the Optimum battery to a recycler for disposal.)

Answer:	A 100 Amp Hour rating means the battery is designed to deliver 100 amps for an hour, or any multiple of that ratio: e.g. 50 amps for 2 hours, 25amps for 4 hours, 1 amp for 100 hours. There's more to the discharge than the simple numbers such as true amperage, battery temperature, current charge, age, damage, and sulfonation. I've used these batteries and the were marginal at holding a charge. So much so that I replaced it with the Sears version, which worked well but now is not possible. One thing for sure, their customer service was excellent.

Answer:	your question depends on what you are expecting to power? in my experience with the same battery I have been able to run a camper based load of a furnace fan on and off in fall season temps, on and off camper lights as needed and a as needed water pump for 14 days without issue, in fact when I returned home last camp trip the battery still had 1/3 charge..... I was amazed... expect any additional power requirements will drain it faster but it is an awesome battery for al deep draw uses... keep in mind a special charger is needed to maintain and charge this type of battery, it is expensive and necessary otherwise your battery life and usefulness is wasted, research odyssey 50 amp charger for this app.
