Answer:	I'm a retired auto electrician, the device probably uses the vehicle's 12 volts to power it, speaking from experience most 12 volt devices like your car radio will function down to about 8 volts, that being said it might still function at 6 volts, as for the higher voltages I'm pretty sure it will reach at least 24 volts because some 18 wheelers run at 24 volts, I hope this was helpful to you, I have one in my Ford Ranger and it's worked flawlessly for over a year now, only one small problem is it tends to work it's way out of the socket from time to time and I need to apply pressure to insure it is all the way into the socket!

Answer:	I don't know about 10 degrees yet, but mine hit 110 degrees which I didn't think it would do.

Answer:	This unit is for in-car only. The antenna is just a couple of inches.

Answer:	Either way works. In one car, which turns off the outlet when the car is off, I leave it plugged in all the time (unless I need the outlet for something else). In other cars, where the outlet is always powered on, I only plug it in when I want to check a reading. It's possible that leaving it plugged in all the time (to an always-powered outlet) could run down the battery if the car isn't started up for several days.

Answer:	The voltage will read out with our without a load. The amps only give you the current coming from your solar panel so if there is no load, the amps will be zero

Answer:	Is the problem that you don't understand the schematic? The positive power source lead should go to the load (motor, etc). The shunt bar goes inline (it is part of the load circuit) on the negative lead back to the power source. After that, just hook up the display to the shunt bar - and one lead back to the power source positive - and you should be good. When you say you don't find any connections, it brings up different questions. Do you have both pieces shown in the listing pictures? Are you looking for answers on a digital voltmeter/ammeter? The only connections on these pieces are screw terminals. There should be a wire connection under every exposed screw. One more item - if the problem is the schematic, the one shown on the amazon listing in the pictures is cleaner than the one on the back of the display. Take a minute to look at it. Hope this isn't too simplistic. Your question makes me go down a couple of different roads. Good luck.

The 4 batteries are connected in series, so your two wires would connect to 2 different batteries: 1) red attached to the positive terminal of the battery whose positive terminal doesn’t lead to another battery, and 2) black attached to the negative terminal of the battery whose negative terminal isn’t connected to another battery

Answer:	It comes with a multi conductor ribbon cable for about 12-18 inches. You may be able to extend that through some DIY soldering and creative wiring. I don’t know how that will affect the readings. You may be able to find a cable on Lin’s with the correct plugs and ribbon to reach your desired layout. Good luck.
Question:	is this weatherproof
Answer:	I haven't tested anything besides the low-voltage protection, but it seems like all the protections can be run simultaneously. You can pick and choose which one(s) to have "armed" as well as set each trigger parameter. The caveat is that it is a only a relay cut, without any automated reconnect. So if any of the protections are triggered, it cuts the external relay, then to reconnect you have to press OK on the "OUT" parameter to re-activate the relay.

If the relay (this product doesn't contain a relay) is connected, press the button ↑ ↓ to move the yellow cursor to OUT after powering on, and press OK to control the output. If the OUT light turns green, the output will be turned on; if the OUT light is gray, the output will be turned off. And the power state of the machine will be the state before the last shutdown. Hall Sensor

Pass the wire that transports current through the round hole of the hall sensor, then the current will be detected. The current can be detected in both positive and negative directions, which is safe and convenient.

NOTE:

1. Do remember to correctly wire the hall sensor, power supply and load according to the instruction.

2. Check the jumper connection, which needs to be connected on J4 when no extra power supply for the hall sensor, while on J3 with an extra power supply added to the hall sensor.

Answer:	Would not call it water proof. Probably water resistant is the best description. The clear bezel is a good, tight fit to the rest of the case in the front but there doesn't appear to be any real seal there. I would not be afraid to use it on a boat but would probably add additional sealing or put it in a clear, waterproof box.

Answer:	yeah.. what does % even mean if it does not know AH capacity or Battery type.. what percent is a 12v led acid at 10v?

Answer:	The button in back switches modes for the different types of batteries. It's not a power button. When you wire it in, it's on. Wire it to the device's main power switch if you want it to turn on with the device. With the ones from Drok, I haven't even had to touch the button in back. It's ready to wire in.

Answer:	Inside measurements for the cut out are 72mm wide, 39mm tall and 25mm deep. The outer face plate is 7mm wider and 3mm taller, not much difference. I made a matting skirt out of thin black plastic since it's very difficult to cut a perfectly sized rectangle in the wall.

Answer:	im sitting looking right at one 6months installed ... it regularly measures 155 amps of 12volt charge and up to 199amps discharge .... those are my system limits witb a 5000w inverter several golf cart batteries and two 100amp chargers
Question:	How long i as the cable for sensor and what is max wire size that will fit in sensor
Answer:	The sensor cable is about 8 inches long but i cut my cable and extended it to about 10 ft. I testes it up to 15ft and it worked fine. You could possibly go longer. Just use a good quality multi wire cable, or make your own. About 18AWG probably OK. I recall the hole as 20mm, roughly 3/4 inch diameter. No problem for RV battery cable. Remember you can run more than one wire through the hole, That way you can still use battery terminal as the tie point for the various wires that may already be connected there. The sensor will read the Sum of currents, that is for example, if you have charging from a solar system at say 5A, and a discharge load to lighting at say 3A, your meter will show 2A charging. Question:	Does the% show down to zero or is the lowest value
Answer:	I believe it did, but by the time you get to 20% the voltage of the battery is in the mid 11 volt range which is unuseable for a power inverter. Once battery level gets near 30% you will be looking to charge up. Hope this helps.
Question:	What is the gauge of the wires that come on it
Answer:	no wires come with it
Question:	i need to hook it up to a 36 volt (6volt x6 ) the paper it came with only lists 12 or 24 volts
Answer:	The one I have (model js-c33) has an operating voltage from 10v-100v so you should be fine if yours is the same model number.

Step-1

Connect the attached 2-core wire to the port on the back of the monitor.

Step-2

Connect the black wire to the negative terminal of the battery and the red to the positive.

Battery Specification Adjusting Method:

Under the condition of power off, long-press the button on the back of the module (do not release) and power up the module.

The monitor will display the battery specification, then continue to click the button until you reach the correct settings for your battery.

After choosing the specification you need, cut off the power and then power up the module again. The adjustment is finished.
