Answer:	Your LiPo battery has two connectors, a tamiya type connector that plugs into the device, and a second connector that connects to the charger. It is this connector that attaches to this device. See all those little pins on the right side? Those slide into the charging connector of the battery and provide power to the meter. If it isn't turning on, flip the connector over and try it on the other side. There will be unused pins unless the battery is utterly massive. I have a 7.4v that uses I think 3 pins and a 11.1v that uses five.

Question:	Can you bend the rubber tip to reach into a battery without much clearance above it
Answer:	I don't currently have a motorcycle, but I see a problem. I the tip size may be an issue, but I would have greater concern with the volume of acid to be drawn up. The glass tube is fairly wide and you need to draw enough acid that to indicator float actually floats. This is about 3 inches. I suspect that this may be more than the total volume of a cell. If you think the volume is OK, you can insert a piece of small plastic tubing in the hydrometer and reach into the battery with that.

Answer:	A moderate load is important to check AAA, AA, C, D and 9v or any other battery for that matter. The reason is the open circuit voltage check does not indicate if the battery has the Current capability to sustain the nominal 1.5 or 9.0v under a light to moderate load for a brief 1-3 seconds. Even with a loaded test, it does not indicate the remaining Amp Hours. But a loaded test is a quick and easy light weight check and is a step better than not loaded.
