Question:	Has anyone used these on a Terrazzo shower pan
Answer:	Before buying the grit #3000, since the counter is now smooth, try one more time starting with grit #800 and then #1500. Use ~3200 RPM and add plenty of water. Polish wet, but judge dry. Take your time with each grit, polish slow. And in between grit #800 and #1500, wipe the edge of surface with gently squeezed wet cleaning towel and after the surface gets dry, vacuum the area to remove any debris. Repeat this step after the #1500 grit. If still doesn't look shiny, then yes, you should buy #3000 grit and maybe the buff as well. Granite is the hardest stone, but marble is the most pretentious one. It depends on the type of marble you have as well, but in general you have to be patient with marble. All the advices above are coming from polishing experts in the industry, people that do this for a living. Nothing we invented. I wish you good luck with your project.
Question:	Will it work for aquarium glass
Answer:	These pads are for finish polishing of stone tiles or composite countertops to remove fine scratches or smooth sharp edges. They would not be the best tool to smooth a rough surface of any size.

Answer:	Do not use the hose for delivery of hot water. Hot water can damage the hose.
Question:	Would this attach to an orbital sander with velcro
Answer:	Yes it can be removed or replaced. There are two valves, one on top of the sprayer that can be operated by thumb, the second one cuts off the water before it reaches the sprayer. I suggest completely draining the water out of the hose before storing. This will make the hose last longer.

Answer:	You need a set of pads to remove and polish. The lower grit 50, 100, 200 is used for grinding and successive polishing. You need to use higher grits 400, 800, 1500, 3000 for shine.
Question:	how many 30 grit to finish 150 sq feet? I will be using wet
Answer:	I dont know. I used them to re polish a marble bar top that had been etched from years of spilled drinks. It looks like new now. Maybe not as glossy as a factory finish, but not far off.

Answer:	Marble polishing/Stone polishing needs an entire set (Set of Grit 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000, Buff) of diamond polishing pads. Stone polishing starts with Grit 50 (Most coarse or rough) polishing pads and iterates through higher grit (Finer or smoother). Typically shine starts showing up at grit 800 and on wards. Upon completion of polish with grit 3000, the stone or marble will get high gloss. Till grit 3000, polishing needs to be done along with water, for buff put very little water, and polish till the water evaporates.1) Are you polishing a marble which has no shine (Cut from a tool) or you are trying to restore marble which has lost shine or got scratches. Stone polishing is an iterative process and just working with grit 3000 may not help. A cut stone polishing starts with grit 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000. Each step is required for a surface to shine. In your case depending on how bad the polishing is, you may need to start with that grit. If it has no shine, and you can feel rough ness, mostly you start with grit 400 or 200. If it has little shine, you start with 800 or 400.Stone polishing is done at approx 2500 RPM, a general grinder running at 10000 RPM does not work and is dangerous to use.

Question:	Can it be used on wood
Answer:	Try using it with water, these pads will grind down the top layers and expose the inner parts of cement. Do check if inner part of cement is same color as top, at times the cement is colored only on top layer and grinding down top layer will discolor it. Answer:	Stone polishing max rpm is 4500, else it can fly off or overheat the surface making permanent damage on stone surface. You need a wet polisher or variable speed polisher for the stone concrete polishing. Most of the grinders operates at 10000 or more RPM and cant be used for stone concrete polishing.

Answer:	These days the highest I know in polishing is 100000 special compound. 10000 grit will give you a very fine surface, mirror like if you step it up properly. Many commercial types of optical lenses are done with this grit level. Car paint polishing is between 2200-4000

Answer:	The bottom measures 3.5 to 3.625 inches in diameter. If you look at your base you'll see there's a "screw" mechanism. This lets you put the bowl in the base and turn it to lock it in place. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The velcro rubber backing pad is 5/8" - 11 thread and you can use these pads ONLY with a Variable Speed Angle Grinder, NOT the standard 11.000 rpm. For Grits #50 #100 #200 we recommend ~1500-2500 rpm and for the higher Grits #400 #800 #1500 we recommend to add water and use ~3000-3500 rpm.
Question:	Are these for wet sanding only
Answer:	The set is designed to polish concrete and/or smooth out the imperfections as well. For a concrete counter with bumps, we suggest to use lower grit pads, from grit 50 to maximum grit 400. Start with grit 50 which is the lowest one and it's made to remove heavy scratches. Continue with grit 100 and grit 200 exactly in this order. At the end use the grit 400 as well to make the surface shine. We suggest to stop here for concrete stone. Using higher grits than 400 for concrete won't bring too much added value. You will just waste the pads. The recommended RPM for grits 50, 100, 200 and 400 is between 1500-2500. Add some water for a better and quicker job.
Question:	Are any of these pads sold in individual grit sizes instead of variety packs
Answer:	These are white resin pads. Let me explain why this is important. We noticed during the time many customers who think all pads are the same and that the color doesn't matter and they are exactly the customers that have problems during the polishing process. There are colored pads on the market that can reach good quality polish, but often they require more time, lots of water and sometimes they even transfer the pads color onto the stone by the end of the process. Our recommendation is to use white resin pads.

Answer:	If it is a variable speed grinder, yes! You need to go slow otherwise the pad will "fly away".
Question:	What size are these pads
Answer:	The 4" disk was good for about 150 square feet of floor polishing before it was toast, that's with water cooling/flushing the entire time.
Question:	Can these pads be used on a 4 1/2" grinder
Answer:	You can use it on wood, as it is very aggressive and cuts fast and durable, depending on kind of wood you sand it may clog the surface of polishing pads.
Question:	How many pads would you reccomend on a floor polisher
Answer:	Quartz has a hardness range of 6.5 to 7 on Mhos hardness scale depending on the type of quartz. The referenced diamond impregnated pads have a hardness of 10 on the same reference scale. If you plan on doing small area touch ups, yes these will work fine. If you plan on a large surface area fix you might want to check out water cooled right angle grinders that different diamond grits can be attached. If memory serves me right I think Makita makes a good one. Have a nice day.

Answer:	Start with 50 (I think it’s coarsest) then 100 ->200 I am assuming it’s on concrete I used it to polish countertop got beautiful
