Question:	Is each pad clearly marked which one to use for each compound? Is it really that important to use the right one? How long do they last
Answer:	I used two types of tape. First, one layer of painters tape. Second, a layer of aluminum foil tape (ASIN: B000BQRBB4). I made sure the foil tape only when on areas first covered by the painters tape. Worked great, I did not sand through the tape to the paint. In one place I got close but the spot was bright blue (painters tape) so I knew to calm down.
Question:	Can I get the pads in 6” or
Answer:	Actually, that was exactly how I did mine. I was a little freaked out because I was afraid if this doesn't work I might just screw up both headlights at the same time. Making my vehicle unusable (at night) until I was able to fix it, but I didn't need to worry. The kit work wonderfully, although until you get to the last step and use the polish you can't really tell how things are working. Other than the fact that all of the steps seemed to be progressing just as others had said with the lights getting more hazy as you work. As I also said I only wish there were more of the rougher sand paper in the kit. My headlights are quite large (Volvo XC90) and the 3 pieces of sandpaper (per light) didn't completely do the job. If you have large headlights and if they are hazy (which if you are thinking of using one of these kits they must be) I would think about maybe getting one kit for each headlight or possibly purchase extra sandpaper on you own to start with (something like P600) then once you have the major 'crud' removed start with the kit and progress thru the stages.
Question:	How many buffing pads is included with this pack
Answer:	If your headlight lenses are moderately hazed, this kit is enough to do on car with enough polishing compound to touch up your taillights too. If your lenses are badly hazed/discolored, you should sand them first with 320-400 grit or you will probably run out of discs.
Question:	do these pads have the velco on the back to use with the backer pad
Answer:	I used tha year ago, just redid them this month. With just this kit, I would suggest 6-12 months, but I’m sure you can stretch it to 18+ and still be better than before you started. Two things would improve it: 1. A UV protectant, such as the one in 3Ms more expensive version of this, or a UV clear coat paint. 2. Buying some 3” wet sanding discs in 5000 and 7000 grit. Maybe even a 10,000 grit. I just redid mine after a year, but they were only mildly “foggy” with a very faint hint of yellowing, so I started with the 3000 grit this kit includes (skipped all the lower grit since I really didn’t need to remove much of the surface), then did two passes each with 5000 grit and 7000 grit which gave a finish very close to “optically clear”, then applied the included rubbing compound. While I was happy with the results of the kit as shipped, I’m even more pleased with the results after using the finer grit papers, and I suspect it will last longer. Adding a UV protectant should make it last longer still.

Answer:	Make sure that both the O-rings there’s a little black one and a red one the black one goes on the little twisty spot at the top and the red one goes around the lid that caused some air problems with me was the little black one did not fit right and I went to the corner store and got some more O-rings and it was fine

Answer:	The foam density is specified in pounds per cubic foot. The Shipping weight is listed as 27lbs, so the item weight is about 25lbs. A queen size 3" topper (60x80x3) = 8.3 cf, so the foam density = 25/8.3 = 3. You can use this method to verify that you get what you ordered.

Question:	How many of this pad do you have?? cause i need a few
Answer:	I've had mine for 4 years in Maine, if that answers to extremes in temps, from -10 to +85 in the course of an average year. These hoses have held up remarkably with little extra care. We keep them in the unheated garage at the end of summer season. I just got mine out this week with temps in the 40's-50's and they seem as flexible as ever. Made in USA, brass fittings are durable, the color stays fresh with no fading so far, and it's lighter-weight so it virtually never kinks, is easier on plantings if you drag it over/through them by mistake, and I find these perfect for gardening/lawn watering. (We do use a regular diameter hose for car washing to get the higher pressure.) Just came by amazon to pick up 2 more hoses by this maker; highly recommend.

Answer:	Thank you for your interest in Super Duty Heavy Cut Compound. We recommend using this product with a rotary buffer at approx. $1800 RPM and using with a 100% white wool pad. If you are using an orbital buffer, we recommend using the EPIC Heavy Duty Compound and either a purple foamed wool or gray foam pad.

Answer:	I have not tried it on fiberglass. I own nothing fiberglass. I was looking for best product for cleaning 2 old sliding glass shower doors. The glass was foggy. I tried lots of common house hold cleaners. Then tried W-D40 & Goo-Gone. Then the one you asked about . IT worked the best. Although the other 2 worked pretty well too. (That's why I mention them.)
