Answer:	I am doubtful that it could be used safely on a 15 tall by 8 wide rim. The application correctly fits a 5.5 inch wide rim. 185 mm section width is 7.283 inches so the tire sidewall would provide very limited vertical support stretched out onto an 8 inch rim assuming you could even get the bead to lock..
