Question: Is it weather proof
Answer: I highly doubt that it is weather proof, to be honest my review was misguided. The mini siren is LOUD ! It will surely alert the neighbors, however after running for approximately 15-20 minutes when tripped it died, only a small squeak emitted from it. Next time I believe I will go with the motorized siren. That is only about $8.00 more but it is constructed of metal and has great reviews last time I looked. I do not like to give a bad review , but I am being honest. Save your money with this one.

Answer: Sorry i sold my car but this alarm did good its small but really loud sounds like a actually alarm instead of police sirens and fire trucks i had sirens like the one you was describing but this one was great

Answer: The answer isnt as straight forward as your question .. The solonoid alone is 4"x1.25" adding wires increases it to about 4.25" unless you solder. The mounting bracket increases the 1.25" to about 3". When you say cable movment im assuming you mean throw thats about .5" The most important thing for these to work is having the solonoid cable to as straight in line with movement of the unlocking mechanism as possible. Honestly as far as strenght for size and overall quality/durability your not going to find a better product

Answer: It might. It's universal. I have a 2001 Tundra and wanted my tailgat to lock and unlock so I got some generic lock actuators on amazon and one actuator does the locking and unlocking with 2 relays wired up. This will only go one way, not both.
