| Answer: | Hi Joann, the tank has a fill guage that shows how full the tank is getting. I don't think a shutoff on the tank is a good idea because your hose connection from your camper to your tank could still be full. You could not disconnect it. But with the gauge you know when to shut off the valve on your RV to stop the flow into the line going to the tank. These tanks are not made to have your sewer run directly into them. They are made to empty your tank into when IT gets full. We bought the 42 gal so there would be no issue of more in the RV tank than the Barker could hold..I think most travel trailers tanks are no more than 40 gal. Hope that helps; feel free to ask for clarification if not. (added) to be precise it is a float indicator that reveals how full the tank is getting.. |

I'm not sure what you are referring to as far as porting, but it has a 3" outlet. Alpha systems does make a installation kit for their tanks. It includes a 3" grommet , 2 1/12 " grommets and extra sensors. This kit does not include straps or mounting hardware, though. Hope this helps! |

Reach down and set the tank up vertically and open the vent connection. This will send the contents into the RV Dump. Most dump stations have a water hose. With everything still in place, spray the water hose into the vent hole to clean out your tank. Obviously, gloves are recommended. |

| Answer: | Yes it mounts under the vehicle. It has a lip about 2 to 3 inches from the top that you can make a bracket to grip into. Worked great for me. Make sure to put your inlet in the correct location and save the bushing from the old tank to install in this hole. I also installed the liquid level indicators by reaching through the outlet hole. You may need to find someone with a small hand and arm to help with this. Take your time and measure several times before you drill the holes. |

| Answer: | This same style tank is mounted under a forest river R-Pod camper at my local dealer. It has z-channel brackets that span between frame rails holding up the shoulders of the tank. I called the dealer and they are able to order the brackets from the manufacturer for $38 each. I had my father in law weld me two that match before the dealer got back to me. Still working on painting and mounting them. |
