Question:	what filter removes iron and sediment
Answer:	well that's two different filter types. iron needs a charcoal filter and sediment needs a regular paper or cotton filter, the charcoal filter will do both but will plug up fairly quick, depending on how much sediment is present. now if this is for a rv I would also recomend flushing out the water tank if that is where the sediment is coming from.
Question:	Is there an expiration date on these? For example, if I buy a two-pack now, and save one for a year or two before I use it, will it still be "good
Answer:	There is no expiration date stated and I see no reason the unopened filter wouldn't have a shelf life of a year or two. Once in use, though, Camco recommends replacement after 3 months. As full-timers, we use our filters a lot and I usually replace mine every 4 to 6 months.
Question:	Capacity question, how many gallons of throughput will one filter last on a typical city water system
Answer:	I’m full-time alone in my RV, staying mostly in parks and resorts. I’m almost always on city water, yet I still use this filter, and routinely replace it every six months. I have yet to ever notice any chlorine or other unusual tastes in my water. Very satisfied!

Answer:	about 3 hours to 4 hours. my wife had 3 of them ..and 2 of the larger ones all from the same company. my wife slept with large ones , which were frozen hard and wrapped in small towels, against her back . was necessary for her to get past back pain....NO sleeping without it for about 8 months. Question:	How many gallons per minute? I'm going to use this on a garden hose to fill my rv water tanks
Answer:	It should be handwashed as there are hooks on the end of the elastic strap. But you can wrap something around the hooks tightly if you want to wash it by machine, or else the hooks will damage other clothes.
Question:	If you used the filter twice and left it in the fridge for months can you use it again? It’s more than 3 months but I as only used a couple of times
Answer:	Leave it in 8 hours. Then -Suggest you wrap it inside your shirt. -Wipe a cold wash rag on inside as you remove from freezer. -Spraying some water on your back before use to evaporate.

Question:	Can this work on home wash machines
Answer:	There is no reason you couldn’t. Keep in mind these are designed to be used in a RV with a much lower amount of water flowing through them. They manufacturer recommends they be changed every 3 months. The water flow through a washing machine is much greater. Not sure what you are trying to filter out but there may be better options and even less costly.
