Answer:	You're correct. It's 9 in. front to back and 8 1/4 in. wide. You made me curious, so I measured my bathroom toilet. It's considered a long bowl and measures 10 in. front to back and the same 8 1/4 in. wide. Thank you for helping me learn something new. If I'm ever confronted by a mugger who says "tell me how big your toilet is or I'll blow your head off" I now know the answer. You may have saved my life!
Question:	What happens after 50 flushes? Is there a battery and is it replaceable? Not enthusiastic about purchasing a new one every 50 flushes
Answer:	There are two halves, top half has a cap to fill clean water and a plunger to push the clean water into the tank. The bottom half is for the waste which needs to be empty. There is an indicator in the front to let you know when it's due. I empty it about 3/4 full. I made the mistake once when the level was all red, DON'T DO THAT! 3/4 is best. To break down the waste, I use Walex Bio-Pak (for breaking down waste) and Porta-Pak (deodorizer), one each. I put them after setting it up and after each cleaning. It almost completely turns it into liquid. Fresh scent porta-pak seems to smell better (blue package) than lavender (purple package), however bio-back (green package) IS DEFINITELY NEEDED to break down waste. After the bottom tank gets full, (more like 40 flushes than fifty) it needs to be emptied, rinsed out with clean water and set back up. After its set up put in one bio-pak and one porta-pak. You can order through Amazon for those. The water tank, upper portion holds about 2.5 gallons (about 9.5 liters), I don't pull the plunger all the way up, only about half way or as needed. This way it conserves on water. Hope this helps.

After three months the rubber gasket got worn out on the flusher. Rigged it for a month .the remaining 5 months I just used my shower head sprayer which was a foot away. I am now ordering #2. Answer:	Well this unit holds about 5 gallons of water, each flush is less then quater of gallon depending how many times you pump to dispose the waste. 1 to 3 flushes should do it. It has a decent pressure, not like a real toilet but enough to clean the bowl. I took it with me camping and I had three females ranging from 7 and 34 years, of age. Believe it or not I only had to dispose the waste every two to three days depending on use.

Answer:	That question should probably be answered by those who specialize in septic fields. I would not rely on a layman’s opinion if the incorrect answer could cause thousands to repair your septic system. Or contact the deodorizer manufacturer for accurate information.

Answer:	The stuff comes in 8 oz bottles. Use half for the waste tank with a little bit of water. FYI, I camped with this toilet in January for 7 days and only just got the red flag warning that the tank was getting fullish. That was me by myself, I hasten to add. YMMV. Pro tip: practice taking it apart and also make sure that the cap is on the waste tank pour spout. When I went to dump mine I discovered what I thought was an extra cap belonged there! Even so, absolutely no smell from this toilet and I was camping in a 6 x 12 enclosed cargo trailer.

Answer:	Not to my knowledge. My wife and I are truck drivers and we use this model on a daily basis and they wear every couple years and have never looked for replacement parts. What we found that wore out is the seal. I broke the handle off once by stepping on it while it was pulled out and didn’t see any way to replace it. The way I looked at it we more than got our monies worth out of it.

Answer:	You open the seat top. Place the bag over the bottom. Put seat down and go. When finished you just remove the bag.

Answer:	Helen,Well... with the lid up and the seat in place... it's approximately 15" high. I am 5' 10" and 195 lbs and have no problems with it. If using it on a flat surface it's a little low, but if using it for camping, simply take 3 bricks with you and level it out. This will raise it well over 2".The best thing is, just use CHEAP 13 gallon bags and don't pay the ridiculous price for the "Doodie" bags. The worst thing is, the hole could be bigger but is OK. And we leave ours set up because the legs are a little hard to break down because the plastic locks are extremely tight.Over all, it was a good purchase and we recommend it.

Answer:	A bedpan might not fit between the legs, however using simple plastic bags that you get from grocery stores does the job just fine; double up for added protection. The grocery bags fit perfectly and are far more affordable than the expensive 'recommended' bags.

Answer:	I'm about 290 and it holds me just fine., and I'm 63 years old This little toilet has been a God-send. When I have to get up during the night, my legs stiffen and it was soooo dang hard to get up and walk to find a toilet during the middle of the night while out camping. I put this little commode right inside inside my tent with me (only urine during the night). I use plastic bags from Smiths and use 4 little strips of duck tape to tape it down. Wahlaw... I'm good for the night. In the morning I just tie up the bag and toss it out. Get a new bag ready for the next night. I love this toilet!!! Now, with all that said, I do wish the manufacturer would have designed it just a little bit higher like 2" more. That would have made this thing absolutely perfect!!! But, I think it's still a lot better and a lot more 'stabler' (especially when you're heavy) than using a bucket!

Answer:	I haven't reached that point yet. Hopefully it just keeps on working without ever needing any replacement parts. I own two of them, and use one of them gets used quite often. Happy to say that it works very well.

Answer:	The opening on the seat is basically an oval shape, 8” side to side and about 9” front to back, the seat itself is about 3” wide all around.

Answer:	Unfortunately not. A five gallon bucket is too tall for this 13.5" tall toilet seat.
Question:	What is the weight limit for use
Answer:	Weight limit is specified on the product; however, through experience I don't let my husband (250 pounds) use it. He has bent one previously. If I were to guess, I wouldn't suggest anyone over 200 use it. Also, FYI: on my second unit, the "footies" wore out and I was able to replace them. I found them at my local hardware store. Quite surprised by that.

Answer:	yes it came with 6 bags and easy to set up, it has a ring that sets down on the bag so it doesn't slip, if you have a bladder problem or walking and your not over 140 lbs, it would be of use in your bed room just tie the bag and throw it away any 13 gallon bag will fit in other words garbage bags. hoped this helped. by the way i use it to go camping,make sure it's on level ground don't want to fall over.

Answer:	I weigh 250 and it supports me fine. The seat opening is small though, so even if it holds the weight of someone like me, it's almost not useable due to the small seat size. My 200 lb buddies feel like it's too small too.

Question:	can you buy 550p msd with y pipe that you can pour out or pump out
Answer:	It does come with a Y attachment that I have been able to use a pump-out on. I manually carried the bottom tank off the boat at a pump-out station. It is MSD compatible, but I'm not sure about that particular pipe.
Question:	Is this 550p MSD portable toilet 92856 a pump out toilet and does it come with the fittings
Answer:	Yes. I was able to connect it to pump-out hose and connect to other end of the hose to an existing port on my boat. It also has a fitting for the smaller vent hose. You need both hoses and the 550p MSD portable toilet has both the pump-out and vent fittings. It works great. We don't use it much but the 2 or 3 times I pumped it out it worked perfectly and pumped out in about a minute.
Question:	how much weight can this support
Answer:	I weigh around 290#. Never have had any problem with it.
Question:	does it prevent leakage, I want to use it on a boat
Answer:	I use mine in the back of my pickup camper, in hilly terrain, rough roads, etc. Then down to the boat for a weekend on the water, absolutely no leakage!
