If you need a lens less than 10 inches or so from the surface, invert the head and you're good.

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend putting it in a regular lamp, bc they get extremely hot. That's y the heat lamps r metal so they dont melt anything. So unless u dont have anything around it, and I believe it has to be able to handle a certain voltage. I would definitely check with flukes.

Answer:	It definitely will keep moisture off the wood; however there can be some discoloration, not certain why. Absence of light? If you have a dark stain, it probably won't matter.

Question:	How thick is it
Answer:	Regular vacuuming is recommended. You can also take it outside, hose it down, and place it in the sun to dry. It can not be washed in a machine.
Question:	Anybody ever have problems with edges curling up
Answer:	No water will seep thru the rug. We place this rug in our Public hallway and NY just had a heavy snow storm too. The rug is holding up well.
