Answer:	No. The oil is in a closed system around the dial. I have never had any oil leakage. This is a fantastic regulator. Love it

Answer:	On top of the black portion, there is a single slot for a screw driver. Also, a pair of arrows indicating the direction to turn the screw to either increase or decrease the pressure through the regulator. I have found that it works well even though it hasn't been put through a season of use. I am using it in my greenhouse to modify the water pressure in the expandable hose used there. I have a constant pressure pump on my well set at 75 psi and have burst many expandable hoses.
Question:	Hooking this up to my low pressure system in my garden. Will this last for constant use
Answer:	My wife and I bought a couple of acres in Louisiana 5 years ago and set up a Travel Trailer to live in full time. We bought this regulator early in 2017 to bring the pressure down from 86 psi to 48 psi. you wouldn't believe the difference it makes. About every 6 months I've disconnected it to hook up to a test meter to see if anything has changed. It's right where I set it over two years ago. This is one fine piece of craftmanship.

Answer:	Only for short periods of 3 to 4 days. However it held up fine to 40-60 psi pressure which is not surprising given the nylon-braid reinforced thick tubing used. I would think it be at least as good as those short extender hoses you can buy which are much thinner. HTH...
Question:	our outdoor faucets are so close to the wall that we skin up our knuckles trying to screw the hose on. Will this product fix this problem
Answer:	We bought this for the RV for drinking and whatever water. It is a regular hose so probably could be used anywhere a hose is used. Might be cheaper to buy one for the garden that doesn't have the potable water rating.

Answer:	I was wondering the same thing so I emailed Camco and they said "the premium drinking water hose ( blue in color) will tolerate up to 180 degrees.

Answer:	Regular garden hoses contain lead in the PVC used to make the hose itself and the brass fitting also contains lead. Studies have been done that show a large amount of lead leaches from the hose into the water as it passes through. It is best to buy lead-free hoses for both your RV and your garden. Question:	what filter removes iron and sediment
Answer:	well that's two different filter types. iron needs a charcoal filter and sediment needs a regular paper or cotton filter, the charcoal filter will do both but will plug up fairly quick, depending on how much sediment is present. now if this is for a rv I would also recomend flushing out the water tank if that is where the sediment is coming from.
Question:	Is there an expiration date on these? For example, if I buy a two-pack now, and save one for a year or two before I use it, will it still be "good
Answer:	There is no expiration date stated and I see no reason the unopened filter wouldn't have a shelf life of a year or two. Once in use, though, Camco recommends replacement after 3 months. As full-timers, we use our filters a lot and I usually replace mine every 4 to 6 months.
Question:	Capacity question, how many gallons of throughput will one filter last on a typical city water system
Answer:	I’m full-time alone in my RV, staying mostly in parks and resorts. I’m almost always on city water, yet I still use this filter, and routinely replace it every six months. I have yet to ever notice any chlorine or other unusual tastes in my water. Very satisfied!

Answer:	Have run a small campground for 50+ years. This type of regulator is highly susceptible to tiny sand or debris in the water lines. A fine screen filter helps but only minimally. Have flushed these in every which way trying to clean - not much luck. If any consolation, junk brass can bring up to $3.00 lb!!

Answer:	Neither, they are the same size that will fit any outside faucet or garden hose. According the American National Standards Institute, garden hose thread--GHT--has an outside diameter of 1.0625 inches with 11.5 threads per inch.
Question:	I live in an apartment and the pressure is often low when they're watering the lawns. What is minimum input pressure for 40 lb regulated output
Answer:	Regulating your water won't help. You'd have to take that up with management about the sprinklers. The issue may be that they're using 1" or larger pvc pipe for the sprinklers which means there's a pressure drop because there's not enough water flow to support it. they could contact the water company to adjust the pressure regulator for the main water line which should support the demand for the sprinklers.
Question:	Can this be used on a standard yard waterhose? Can the pressure be adjusted to a low and/or off level
Answer:	Yes, standard water hose. No, pressure cannot be adjusted. You can add a shutoff valve before the pressure valve if you want to adjust the volume flow.

Answer:	No , but the best way to clean the tank is using this from the out side in to the tank . I used both inside toilet sits right and tide , and then outside , this creates a lot of pressure more than enough to push all out .

Answer:	If you are trying to clean the tank, newer RVs have a "black water flush" system. There are jets inside the black water tank that spray water throughout the tank. When you are doing this, the goal is to clean any paper or solids off the sides. Just shoving the hose down the toilet wouldn't get much done. Might as well just flush large amounts of water down the toilet. There are jet type tools that connect to a hose and you can shove down the toilet. This is an alternative to the built in flush systems and would be a lot more effective than just shoving a hose down there. I wouldn't recommend the method you are asking about.
Question:	Is this a 1/2" or 5/8" ID hose
Answer:	Unless your hot tub is set to "boil" the temp shouldn't be an issue, if you are worried about the temp, shut the hot tub down for a few hours before draining. I've used a submersible 1 1/4" sump pump to empty them with, it's much faster. Any garden hose would be okay for draining, no need to buy a special one.
