Question:	Can the dual head check be removed and replaced with a 1/4 inch NPT connector
Answer:	Yes I mounted mine on top on the air box in my 16 4runner it states it will work in the heated environment and it is water resistant.
Question:	Can this be used as just a tire pressure gauge when not connected to an air compressor
Answer:	40amp fuse and 6 gauge wire according to manual

Question:	Does the gauge lock the reading until released or do you have to read the gauge while holding in place
Answer:	I don't know the exact size of the fitting but it does fit a standard air valve on all my motorcycle and automobile tires. Hope this helps.
Question:	I was really disapointed that the Intercomp site has no accuracy spec. Is it in the owner's manual? "Very accurate" is not a spec
Answer:	It's a great gauge but does NOT come with a carrying case.
Question:	Does anyone know if it is 3/8" or 1/4" hose fitting
Answer:	No, it does not hold the reading. The button it has is a bleeder button. Slightly overfill tire and bleed it to correct pressure. It would be nice to have it hold the pressure but not necessary.
Question:	Does this come in a carrying case
Answer:	I received mine just like the photo, came with the gauge and works fine
