If you live close to a repeater, this would not mean much. If you hit the repeater, you will hit everyone else who can hit the repeater. I have many friends who live in restricted neighborhoods who use some kind of antenna in their attic. You could also try the quarter wave 2 meter antenna for mobile operations in your attic and you should be able to position it straight up vertically. |
