| Answer: | If you are using this pump on a vw, ground is always brown on vehicle side. If you need to verify a simple test light will tell you which is positive. But you have to remember to turn key into run position of switch to turn on fuel pump power. Make sure the leads off the vehicle are not touching or you will blow the fuse. If you are trying to figure out the terminals on the pump, there should be a (+) and a (-) on the pump stamped into the plastic next to the terminals. If there aren't any, you can put a clear hose on the end opposite the terminal end, put it in a gas tank and supply 12v to the terminals. If gas doesn't start coming up the clear tube, swap the leads you are supplying voltage to the terminals and see if it pulls gas. If it does, mark your positive so you remember when you install. |

| Answer: | It worked perfectly on my 2006 TJ, the only thing I think changes a bit with this pump is the fuel pressure. My old pump’s pressure was about 25 PSI and this one’s was about 35 when I had it installed. That increased a bit my fuel consumption but it was no big deal. It might have settled down later on but I never cared to measure it again. Still, great product and it looked just like the original one. |
