Answer:	The only way to reverse would be to swap the hoses. From what I have noticed with mine is that it has a diaphram pump action that pulls the fuel into the intake and then pushes out the other side.

Answer:	I had the same question. I emailed airtex. They said less than an amp But do check with them as that was a few years ago and I’m working from memory I found their email address somewhere on their website I use this pump as a replacement for the original mechanical fuel pump . Answer:	This pump fuel from the tank and pushes it up towards the engine. Are you asking which way the pump is supposed to go in line?

Answer:	The E8248 is an inline fuel injection pump with maximum pressure (not system pressure) of 110-120 psi. It will deliver 60-70 gallon per hour and uses 3/8” hose. If you are using a carburetor this will over power the system.

Answer:	I would say no to pumping glycol with it. It's not made for diesel so glycol is around the same consistency. As far as regulating it with power, I couldn't answer that. O would try a universal fuel pressure regulator

Answer:	Depends on what you mean by "pressure switch". I installed it on a fuel injected motor with a pressure regulator and it works fine. The regulator will drain off the excess pressure and return the fuel down the return line to the tank. You might want to call airtex support and explain your application.

Answer:	I don't understand what you mean by a gravity feed.com pump. The pump is a positive displacement, solenoid driven pump. It does not require a positive pressure at the inlet, but I don't know how far the pump will "lift" gasoline from the tank. In my application the pump was located about a foot above the gas tank and it worked fine.

Answer:	I would say no. I have one on a John Deere 318 and I sit on the tank and pump it up to the carb.

Answer:	The E8016S pump is a 3-5psi pump that I have used for years on Corvairs with carburetors. They have worked well for me. The pump should be mounted close to the fuel tank as they do not suck as well as they push.

Answer:	I have never uses one of these on an injector system I don't see why it would not work. This pump does not put out a lot of pressure. I have one on two each Rochester four barrels without pressure regulators. This pump will put out a good flow of fuel.

Answer:	Yes it will! I use it for this exact purpose on an old pickup. After setting for a week, all of the fuel in the carb evaporates so I run this pump for about 10 seconds with a toggle switch before turning the engine over, and the truck fires right up. The electric pump is placed between the fuel tank and the mechanical pump. The mechanical pump draws fuel thru the electric pump when it is switched off, and the electric pump can push fuel thru the mechanical pump when the engine is off.
