What is carbon deposition?



There are some hydrocarbon olefin residues attach on engine intake,cylinder when fuel burn in engine not completely. These residues change into hard black shell in high temperature condition , that called carbon deposition.



Why need clean carbon deposition?



Carbon deposition will decrease air-fuel ratio, cut down engine output power, increase fuel consumption, engine drastic shake on idle status...all the thing will hurt engine deeply. So normally we should clean carbon deposition after every 40000-50000 kilometer trip.



Recommend:

1 Air pump pressure should more than 0.7Mpa (7bar/102PSI)

2 Walnut powder diameter should between 0.4-0.8mm, amount in 2-4KG(4-9LB)

3 Cleaning time between 1-3 minutes



How to use?

1 Open head cover of AUTOOL HTS558 and pour into walnut powder (need 2-4KG ), press dust guard on walnut powder then close cover



2 Join spary gun muzzle and recycle hose together (there is a hole on recycle hose)



3 Remove intake manifold of engine, plug spary gun into intake, turn crankshaft to close intake valve. Connect high pressure air pump((not include)) to HTS558



4 Connect AC power, start clean. The process should last 1-3 minutes(depending on carbon deposition circumstances)



5 Close AUTOOL HTS558, check up cleaning result. Normally, walnut powder can be reuse 5-10 times(depending on carbon deposition circumstances)

Step:



1. Unscrew the reservoir and pour the ternary cleaning solution into the reservoir. Screw the bottle back onto the device.

2. Hang the equipment on the hood, disassemble the air intake pipe port of the car, and prepare for cleaning. Check that the equipment flow control valve is closed to connect the cone interface to the PCV valve or other vacuum line.

3. Start the engine to speed, insert the nozzle into the intake pipe of the car, open the flow regulating valve to slowly enter the engine intake system, and adjust the flow rate of the cleaning agent through the flow window.

4. The intake control valve is used to micro-control the flow rate of the cleaning agent. The adjustment can be displayed by the size of the vacuum gauge. The higher the vacuum, the larger the flow rate, the lower the vacuum, the smaller the flow rate; do not let the engine stall and keep the idle speed Within 2000 rpm until the cleaning fluid is completely drawn into the engine, the entire cleaning process takes about 20 minutes.

5. After cleaning, remove the cone interface of the bottle, connect the PCV valve or other vacuum line as it is, and shut down the engine. Clean up the site for later use.

Operation:



1. Locate the connector between the vehicle's fuel system and the cleaning kit.

2. Warm up the engine to its operating temperature and turn it off. Then disable the fuel pump of the vehicle.

3. Pour the cleaner inside the kit and hang it up on the hood. Screw the other end of the kit onto the fuel rail of the vehicle.

4. Attach a compressed air hose and adjust the fuel injector cleaning tool's regulator to the same pressure as the vehicle's fuel system.

5. Start the vehicle and the cleaner will do its job.

6. When the engine shuts down, disconnect the cleaning kit and reassemble the relay.
