Answer:	My dad did something like this on the back patio. I have only used 2 mil for raised planter drainage. He went much thicker for your type of coverage. His was dual pane. Screen for the summer and an extra plastic pane for the winter. It worked pretty well, kept the wind and rain out. 4 mil may not be thick enough to last, depending on your location. My dad was an over-kill kind of guy, and I believe he went with 8 mil. Our entire large patio was covered 3-sides, including door, with this and it lasted for many years. If you go thick enough it will block the wind, rain, and prevent some of the cold.

Answer:	Depends on level of heat. I used it as a drop cloth ... Only room temperature heat. It is a form of plastic so I assume would melt if exposed to extreme heat.

As far as the soap question. I use the soap and apply a daily moisturizer after washing my face. This soap has everything in it that you need already.
