Answer: Great question! (I am a teacher, so...) the box comes with two of the same filters (as your air puifier requires two, one on each side.) The helps and carbon filters are all in one. So, the “box” containing two filters will replace the consumable (throw away) filters. The other filters are the screen filters which you vacuume/wash 2-4 weeks depending on your use and air particles in your environment. I have had my Air Mega for over a year. The replaceable box of two filters has been changed at 9 months, but I have four dogs and a small house which the air gets circulated quite often. I also run mine on high all day and “smart” at night. If you have another question post it and I’ll get back with you. Answer: I have had mine for years. I vacuum the 3 white filters every week when I vacuum. I write the date on them when I put in new ones. I am changing mine today but the last time I did was back in Dec. of 2019. Real good appliance. No problems with mine and am going to order another one for the back of my house where my dogs and I have allergies. The pre filter I change every week. I actually hose it down every week and let it dry. You won't be disappointed in this air purifier.
