Shorter is better too since power decreases the longer the cable. For most folks, 12' will be fine.

Answer:	I'm not sure that option was available when I purchased mine. If you click on the link at the top which includes the EVA case, you can see a photo of it (and click on the photos at the left.) So instead of the nylon drawstring bag, you can get the upgraded zippered case for the cables instead. Note that the cables are easy to fit in to the drawstring bag. Having not seen the zippered case, I can't say anything about it.

Answer:	I can't think of any reason these would not work on a 2002 blazer. Cables are cables. Some have heavier gauge wire, some are longer, but they are all just wire with clamps on the ends.

Answer:	1 gauge is more efficient than 2 gauge for any wire, that is a lower number used for a wire gauge represents a larger or thicker wire. Size of these jumper cable wires are 1 gauge and they are copper clad aluminum jumper cables. They would be basically equal to 3 gauge pure copper jumper cables. These 1 gauge copper clad aluminum jumper cables will most definitely work fine. Pure copper wire size 1 gauge translates to 00 gauge copper clad aluminum to do the same job and be basically equal to a 1 gauge pure copper jumper cable. Aluminum is fine and is lighter and less expensive than copper, but it will perform in an excellent no hastle way. You can google metals that transfer electrons better, but copper is the usual standard, silver is better but tarnishes, and is more expensive, aluminum is next for efficiency. These are excellent cables.

Answer:	The protective coating is 2.5-5mm thick, and its service life is about 5 years.
Question:	Are these cables 100% pure copper wire
Answer:	Not 100% copper. Anytime you see the acronym "CCA" in the description, it stands for "Copper Clad Aluminum". The wires on these are CCA, but I have used them and they performed fine. No power loss at 25' and they did not get hot while providing power from my truck to my trailer mounted 10,000# winch. They seem like a quality set of cables for the money.
Question:	Do these go back into the bag easily
Answer:	In my experience, NONE of these products that come in a sexy bag go back into them easily. That said, these are easier than most. Like them all, if you get a set STUDY how they are packed before you unroll them. You will notice that the clamps are on the inside of the roll in a certain manner. Remember that, take a marker and draw a diagram on the inside of the bag. Like I said, these are easier than most but I would still like to slap the bag designer. It would be SO EASY to design a gusset with a zipper into the sidewall.

Answer:	I think China - given the price point. I looked at USA made but were +$200. You could make your own out of welding cables if you were handy. I try to buy USA made everything but for the limited use opted for these. Decent quality actually.

Answer:	DC current doesn't travel that well over long distance. 30feet on 1awg is the best for this application.
Question:	Are the quick connect cables true 1 awg or does "gauge" mean something else? is "1 awg" printed on the insulation
Answer:	I believe they are 1 gauge my friend. I got some copper lugs for them and I got 1 gauge. Worked great. I modified mine. Had to make it longer.

Answer:	The cable that affixes to your car's battery is 5 ft. and the jumper cable is 25 ft.
Question:	How long is the lead that connects to the battery permanently to the connection plug outside the vehicle
Answer:	It is five feet going from the battery to the quick connect/disconnect coupler.
