Answer:	In all the years with all the Odyssey batteries I've used, I have never had one go dead. However, the short answer is yes.

Answer:	The battery has both. Usually, you will need one type of connector or other (top post or side connector). Both can be used at the same time if necessary, for example one set of connectors runs the truck electrical system and I use the other to connect to an on-board winch which requires 12 volt power. If you use only one set of connectors, just leave the other capped.
Question:	can i charge it with a regular battery charger
Answer:	It's not advisable to charge any AGM Battery with anything but a smart charger. The reason is that it is damaging to an AGM battery to exceed 14.8 volts during any part of the charging cycle. Read about it on Odyssey's website. Most cheap "regular" or "standard" chargers have no built in circuitry to prevent over charging. Odyssey batteries are the best of the best and are priced accordingly. If you purchase one, do yourself a favor and protect it by purchasing an Odyssey Charger to go with it. I did and I currently have 2 Odyssey batteries.

Answer:	Trusted by Baja 1000 racers & search and rescue, never heard of Walmart making anything this awesome. Best battery out there. You get what you pay for everytime. I think the almost $300 battery lives up to the hype .

Answer:	The battery I received was a pc680-p through Amazon itself. Other companies that sell through amazon may be selling old batteries but these type of batteries have a long shelf / standby life. I currently have an odyssey battery that is 12 years old and still going. The battery was sitting for over a year before I got it according to its stamped date.

Answer:	Sorry, but it all depends on cold cranking amps required by your V6. The Odysseus is 170coca. That's enough for my little 2.0L turbo 4, but it's a daily driver, and I put the Odysseus charger on it for top off every weekend.The main reason I run this battery is to save 25lbs from my engine compartment.And come summer, I'll mount this AGM battery under my rear seat.

Answer:	It is 1/3 the size of a 51R battery. With the optional posts it will "work" in a Honda Civic. I used one for a whole year in my 08 Civic, in the 'harsh' N.Y. winter with temps of 5 degrees F. This battery has minimal standby reserve; in other words don't keep you headlights or radio on for any length of time with the engine off.

Answer:	December 2017. These are in stock and ready to ship.
Question:	So are the batteries pro rated after the 4 years? Of course mine are dying at 5 years
Answer:	I’m not sure what or if they are prorated. Check there website. But I truly believe you won’t have to worry about it. I’m a truck driver. Mine sits for 1-2 months with out being touched. And when I turn the key. It busts off like it was started a hour before. I will never buy a different battery.

Answer:	Don't need a charger if you install an Odyssey battery. They are that good.
Question:	I’m reading online that the warranty is not valid for these batteries if purchased through amazon. Is this true
Answer:	No, not true. If purchased from and shipped by Amazon, the warranty is valid. I've been in touch with Enersys who confirmed this for me before I purchased.

Answer:	Amazon will never give a refund on batteries regardless because they are considered "Hazardous." Therefore, anyone can BUY bad/dead/ancient batteries on Amazon and you will be out a few hundred dollars. However, if you SELL these bad/dead/ancient batteries on Amazon, you can become wealthy! Amazon does not care. This was told to me by the maker of Odyssey, EnerSys. They, too, seem to not guarantee their battery at all. Next time, just shop local. You will save more money by doing so. My husband and I are now out of over $500 to replace the "can't-hold-a-charge" EnerSys Odyssey battery and buying local. We've been attempting to address this problem since June 2020. EnerSys representative, again, told me, NEVER buy batteries on the Amazon platform! Amazon will NEVER honor returns on batteries. But, wait, we BOUGHT the battery from ENERSYS, NOT Amazon!
Question:	Does this require any special equipment or methods to charge? It is not accepting a charge from the trickle charger I use for other auto batteries
Answer:	I had a trickle charger on mine to keep it charged over periods of non use, worked fine. I would suggest disconnecting and fully charge with 10-12 amp charger, then reconnect and see if and/ or how long it takes to discharge. I have had 2 of these batteries, never a problem except one was 3 years old and I let it set over the winter discharged, took it out. Totally my fault.
