Answer:	The length of warranty on paper doesn’t matter because getting them to act on it is difficult. They wanted me to send the charger to them at my cost and wait without a charger for 6?weeks

Answer:	The clamps are metal on the inside (obviously), and a durable plastic on the outside as insulating covers. Looks to be pretty durable, I've had no problems with them. But then, I tend to take care of my toys! :-) This unit, by the way, was an excellent investment...after having owned several less-capable chargers. This one restored my Yellow Top battery back to its full capacity in short order! I own a Tahoe Hybrid and had installed the Yellow Top as a result of standard batteries not holding a full charge after a year or two, and often draining when not running the Tahoe at least once every 4-5 days or so. Can connect full-time to the battery the accompanying cable, making the use of clamps unnecessary! Just have to remember to unplug it!

Answer:	I have used two of these in parallel on a Dodge 5.7 Hemi for about 6 months now, that is used as a daily driver and gets lots of short trips. It has worked flawlessly. it turns the motor over easier than ever and has never been noticeably low on charge. In the beginning I routinely checked with a volt meter and it was always near full charge. This must have saved 40-45 lbs over stock battery.I also put a single one of these in my 1982 Porsche 911 SC. I keep this one on a Battery Tender trickle charger, as I only drive about once every week or two. So far, it has worked perfect. Turns over 3 liter engine with ease.

Answer:	I suppose that you are asking for 30 Amp Hours, not 30 Amps (3x2 Amps = 6 Amps).I use this battery in my portable solar generator, and with a 120 volt AC inverter, it can power an 8 Amp fan (motor) for about an hour. Alternatively, it will power a 20 watt Compact Flourescent light bulb (0.17 Amps) for about 4 to 5 hours.It can also power my flat screen TV, but I have not yet tested how long the TV would last. I have a 400 watt pure sine wave inverter on my mobile solar generator. Lightweight makes it easy to carry. I would estimate that it is roughly the equivalent of a 20 Amp Hour lead acid battery, but it is much lighter and will last 10 years, not just 2 or 3 years (as in a sealed lead acid battery).So, my guess is that with an inverter, it will power three of your 2 Amp speakers for about 1.5 hours. Three of these batteries in parallel should power your three speakers for about 4.5 hours.

Answer:	You can discharge this battery down to 8V, which is about 90% of capacity. So yes, it can handle a pretty deep cycle. Just be aware that the actual capacity of this battery is about 10 Ah. The "26-35 Ah Pb eq" refers to the peak current and number of engine starts this battery is capable of in an automotive application.

Answer:	Wired in series gives you 12vdc. Wired in parallel gives you 6vdc with more current. My scissor lift uses 4, 6vdc batteries wired in series to get 24vdc at 200 amps.

Answer:	I have the 6 volt version in my 1952 Chevrolet Hardtop. The battery will fit in the battery box at an angle. It is longer than the standard GM battery but much narrower, therefore you can angle it in the box and support the hold-down at the opposite corners and it will work fine. I had my Optima for 6 years in my Chevy.

Answer:	Hi BrianI measured my battery roughly using a cheap tape but here goes. I measured the height of the plastic casing at approx. 7 1/4 by 10 inch long and 3 1/2 inch wide but from the bottom of the case to the top of the post is approx. 8 1/8 inches. Strange enough this battery would lie flat on it side in the battery tray with the posts towards the engine in my 40 Ford. I could stack two of them on their side if I had the right cable hook up. Nice battery, small for the standard tray but has decent power and holds its charge very well just sitting in garage 6 months. Hope this helped somewhat.Wayne

Answer:	The answer is way too many. 220 volts at 3.49 amps means 64 amps at 12 volts, which is the very near the 66 amp rating of the battery. Since the battery should never be drained below 50%, the answer is you would need two to run your motor for 1 hour, or 24 to run it for 12 hours. You'd be better off looking at some 8D lithium batteries. They hold 255 amps and can be run down to 20% of capacity. Please note it would be cheaper to run a generator.

Find a dealer who will give you a warranty, and replace it if they sell you a dud. Learn from my expensive mistake. That's the only advice that really counts. (For me, I bought a great marine battery from Costco, and brought the Optimum battery to a recycler for disposal.)

Answer:	The battery I received was a pc680-p through Amazon itself. Other companies that sell through amazon may be selling old batteries but these type of batteries have a long shelf / standby life. I currently have an odyssey battery that is 12 years old and still going. The battery was sitting for over a year before I got it according to its stamped date.

That's enough for my little 2.0L turbo 4, but it's a daily driver, and I put the Odysseus charger on it for top off every weekend.The main reason I run this battery is to save 25lbs from my engine compartment.And come summer, I'll mount this AGM battery under my rear seat.
