Answer:	Yes. I've used it on my brake calipers and it works great. Depending on how much you drive you may have to touch it up to keep it bright every so often but that's going to happen regardless of what paint you use because brake dust, etc. I use this because its high temperature.

Answer:	Primer of any kind will be good for a nice finish for whatever you are painting. I recommend 3 light coats of primer lightly sanded in between. When getting ready to apply you engine paint, beware, this is thick paint. It has heavy particulate matter which is the paint. I recommend that you turn the paint can upside down for 3 to 4 hours. This paint settles heavily. After several hours upside down, shake violently to get it mixed well. After that don't spray too close to your target surface. Do not spray at any temp less than 72 degrees fahrenheit, and spray evenly side to side about 5 to 6 inches, from surface.

Answer:	Not sure what the manufacturer will recommend, but my preference is to topcoat over it as soon as their recommended "dry time" is up. Virtually any primer will take on moisture and the longer it is exposed, the great risk of moisture bleeding through to the topcoat.

I don't spare expense. Using brake clean/carb cleaner/Slacker thinner. In this case dirty aluminum valve covers. Thinking start with slacker thinner. So, with that in mind. If I can't find a good high temp. 500 degree primer, I'm thinking just use the ceramic formula on a clean sanded surface. Thanks

Answer:	If you are painting a part that gets really hot use the VHT very high heat primer. It's rated up to 2000 degrees. If it's a normal part that won't be exposed to high heat you can use normal primer like krylon or dupli-color.

Answer:	During summer, in the 80's, I was able to handle parts in less than an hour, and assembly in around 2 hrs.

Answer:	I've used this paint without primer and have had very good success with it on engine parts (generator, starter). Do, of course, thoroughly clean the part's surface before painting. It is a very high quality paint.
