It is also usually on the oil fill cap. If you are actually putting 23 thousand miles a month on your vehicle then you should change this oil based on every 15000 miles not once a year. I would send your oil to places that test oil after in your engine to be sure you can make it 15000 miles. Blackstone labs is one of those places. I would check oil levels constantly with every few gas fill ups any way to make sure it doesn't get too low. If you off road in the wet then you may need to change it more often because it can become contaminated with water.

Go to youtube and look for the video on different filters and oils. ie fram. I had a someone tell me to get the fram off my 92 ford 5.0 mustang and watching the video on filter I could see why. Oil is important but especially the filter.

On their latest data sheet dated 20Sep17, this approved statement is no longer indicated. 1 quart size or 5 quart size makes no difference. If the product was made after 20Sep17 then it is not likely to be approved for engines requiring dexos1. I would safely assume the bottle labeling will reflect whether or not using this as a suitable substitute over dexos1 type oil is acceptable. The picture is old and will, or should, be changed so their is no confusion.
