Answer:	I have been using full synthetic oil in my 98 Silverado 5.7. I now have 364k miles with no engine issues at all. I'd recommend it for anything that takes 5w30

Answer:	SAE refers to the grading system. There are actually thicker Euro 5w-30 oils, but this is a thin 5w-30 for American and Asian cars. This particular blend is the latest additive formulation for GDI / turbo engines, it should be one of the best products on the market.

Answer:	"Approved - GMdexos1™ supersedes GM-LL-A-025, GM6094M and GM4718M" This is indicated on the 5W-30 Castrol Edge High Mileage data sheet, dated 09Nov15. On their latest data sheet dated 20Sep17, this approved statement is no longer indicated. 1 quart size or 5 quart size makes no difference. If the product was made after 20Sep17 then it is not likely to be approved for engines requiring dexos1. I would safely assume the bottle labeling will reflect whether or not using this as a suitable substitute over dexos1 type oil is acceptable. The picture is old and will, or should, be changed so their is no confusion.

Question:	What is the difference between Pennzoil 550040834 and
Answer:	I use this oil in my road racing engine with great success. I also use it in my tow vehicle that asks for 5w-20 and other personal vehicles as well with no problems. It is slightly more viscous than say a 5w-20 in very cold weather so I would be careful using this oil below 0 degrees Fahrenheit. It also depends on how you drive. If you drive hard then this oil would give you better engine protection. If you drive the car to church on Sundays it probably does not matter what oil you use.

Answer:	Yes, you can mix them. It’s the same oil with a new name. The name has changed 3 times since I’ve owned my E46 M3. From what I’ve read the oil has a self life of 1-2 year depending on storage conditions such as temperature and humidity.

Answer:	Good oil if your engine calls for this weight.

Answer:	You can look further down on the description to see why they are saying carbon neutral. It means, as a company, they are offsetting the carbon emissions from this product with some green processes. It’s similar to a land developer that has to designate land for parks for every so many houses. They are still cutting down trees, they just get credit for leaving trees in the park!!!

Answer:	Most likely this is the production date of the oil. As is have read online, most oil has a shelf life of 3 to 5 years and there are some manufacturers that state oil never expires. You may be able to check with Pennzoil, but I believe the shelf life is 5 years after which the additives start to drop out.

Question:	if your vehicle use regular oil, can synthetic oil damage your motor if being use in it
Answer:	As long as you've been using a detergent oil, the synthetic stuff will work better than fine. Note that most oils are detergent so I think you have very little to worry about. I know change oil every 8-10,000 miles. I'm confident my engine is fine... Compression has not fallen a whit. valve trail remains quiet as a could be.
Question:	How many miles or kilometers I need to change this oil
Answer:	First, whatever you do, don't invalidate your car's warranty if you have one. Extending the oil change interval can do just that. That said, I leave mine in for 9-13 thousand miles. I run compression tests at open throttle, hot engine and for 2 changes it has not changed from 152 psi. Your experience may vary... Good luck

Answer:	It says it is API SN on the jug.

Answer:	I have never heard of a shelf life for oil. It’s probably fine. I bought a new penzoil and after I poured it into my engine I noticed a whole lot of sediment at the bottom of the container. I posted pictures and a review. I wouldn’t use Penzoil again.

Answer:	Anything beats nothing. Yes you can use Pennzoil, or any major brand. But the key is use the same kind. And lubricant will maintain engine proficiency, not cure any noises.

Answer:	Lexus, I dunno. Depends on vehicle and usage. Back of owners manual depicts what Weight (OW-20) during what season recommended. But quality. usually related to price, helps longevity. And DO use the same kind, as some additives do not harmonize.

Answer:	Absolutely, I use it in my 2010 Tundra after using Mobile 1, Royal Purple and by far this keeps my motor the quietest. The cold start up on these Tundras are very noisy buy using this oil has made a huge difference.
