Answer:	I have a 2009 Cobalt. I change my oil when the indicator comes up on the dash. Usually within the time frame of 5 -1 % of life left. My Cobalt has almost 200,000 miles on it. The computer actually knows when the oil needs changed. How? The computer calculates the length of time the car runs, temperatures the car is exposed and more. In effect, the computer knows when the oil is losing it's level of viscosity. Viscosity = Sticky. Oil needs to be sticky to cling to the internal parts of the engine. Again, oil must be sticky to be protect the engine. Trust me, the car's computer knows. The only way the car doesn't know is if you don't start it and or you don't drive it. In that case, you would need to change the oil far more often. The worst effect any engine deals with is not being run. Second worst is starting the car and not allowing the engine to reach normal operating temperatures. Start the car and drive it. Doing so causes the moisture in the oil to be burned off. Moisture in the crankcase causes internal rust. Internal rust can damage the crank bearings. I have 4 GM cars. They all have high mileage. Let the car tell you when to change the oil. Answer:	"Approved - GMdexos1™ supersedes GM-LL-A-025, GM6094M and GM4718M" This is indicated on the 5W-30 Castrol Edge High Mileage data sheet, dated 09Nov15. On their latest data sheet dated 20Sep17, this approved statement is no longer indicated. 1 quart size or 5 quart size makes no difference. If the product was made after 20Sep17 then it is not likely to be approved for engines requiring dexos1. I would safely assume the bottle labeling will reflect whether or not using this as a suitable substitute over dexos1 type oil is acceptable. The picture is old and will, or should, be changed so their is no confusion.

Answer:	In my personal opinion I think Mobil 1 is a great choice for any vehicle. I use it in my 2004 Nissan Frontier and have 125000 miles on it. It's had nothing but this oil in it since the day it was purchased.

Answer:	5W-20 or 5W-30 In Hawaii? Depends on what your owners manual states. They usually have a range listed of what weight oil you can use in your vehicles engine. It is also usually on the oil fill cap. If you are actually putting 23 thousand miles a month on your vehicle then you should change this oil based on every 15000 miles not once a year. I would send your oil to places that test oil after in your engine to be sure you can make it 15000 miles. Blackstone labs is one of those places. I would check oil levels constantly with every few gas fill ups any way to make sure it doesn't get too low. If you off road in the wet then you may need to change it more often because it can become contaminated with water.

Answer:	As long as you've been using a detergent oil, the synthetic stuff will work better than fine. Note that most oils are detergent so I think you have very little to worry about. I know change oil every 8-10,000 miles. I'm confident my engine is fine... Compression has not fallen a whit. valve trail remains quiet as a could be.
Question:	How many miles or kilometers I need to change this oil
Answer:	First, whatever you do, don't invalidate your car's warranty if you have one. Extending the oil change interval can do just that. That said, I leave mine in for 9-13 thousand miles. I run compression tests at open throttle, hot engine and for 2 changes it has not changed from 152 psi. Your experience may vary... Good luck

Answer:	I have never heard of a shelf life for oil. It’s probably fine. I bought a new penzoil and after I poured it into my engine I noticed a whole lot of sediment at the bottom of the container. I posted pictures and a review. I wouldn’t use Penzoil again.
