User questions & answers
Question: | Is bg moa compatible with diesel engines |
Answer: | I’m not sure what you mean. However, this is NOT to stop oil leaks. It is to be added to your oil when changing new engine oil. It provides better internal protection to the lubricated parts in pistons, valve seals, etc. especially for cars with over 75,000 miles. If your car takes 5 quarts of oil. You put 1 can of the RF-7 and only 4 quarts oil. Please check your oil level after adding. If your engine is bigger, might need another 1/2 quart more of engine oil. If your car uses 9 quarts, I would still only use 1 can of RF-7. It’s very thick. Works GREAT!!!! |
Question: | How is it used? I have a nissan 200sx 97 and I see that it has no power |
Answer: | Yes it will work for your vehicles combustion engine, and the benefits are an increase in the oils viscosity index which can help increase oil pressure and decrease oil consumption. Also supplements engine oil in reducing engine component wear and will help the engine run quieter. |
Question: | Difference between bg on 115 and on |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this a genuine bg product? is it made in the usa |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | Where does this go |
Answer: | I have 2012 Corvette with 44,000 miles and I do my own oil changes. Based on my usage and comments from 2 Chevrolet dealerships MOA is not necessarily going to provide a noticeable power increase. It is an oil additive that increases the "slipperiness" of the oil and extends the effectiveness of the oilis ability to maintain its expected viscosity. I do use it for every oil change along with Mobil synthetic oil. Chevrolet recommends a synthetic oil like Mobil for Corvettes because it doesn't degrade as quickly as non-synthetics and because it lowers friction better and, thus, leads to a bit more power. On the other hand BG makes a gas additive called 44K and I have seen a more noticeable power difference with that. 44K causes the combustion phase to burn off carbon build up which can be especially bad due to ethanol in the gas that is available to us. Most fuel that is available today has at least 10% ethanol and it leaves carbon deposits on the piston, the valves, in the top top of the cylinder. If you get that make sure you follow the instructions on the can. 44K, like MOA, is expensive so I am also using an occasional take full of non-ethanol gas and the combination of that fuel and using 44K at the same time I change my oil has been good. Now MOA is still a great product because it protects the engine from corrosive build up, protects the viscosity properties, and keeps the seals pliable. Finally, BG has a product called EPR which is intended to increase power through clean of the oil system, kind of like 44K cleans up the combustion area, but I have not used that. I would suspect that if you use synthetic oil, add the MOA to the oil, fill up with a tank of non-ethanol gas at the same time you put 44K in the fuel, all of that at one time would lead to power changes that you will notice. You should also see an obvious improvement in your mileage. Good luck. |
Question: | Can this be added to amsoil synthetic oil |
Answer: | 110 is the original formula. 115 has been reformulated to keep the oil from breaking down for longer periods of time/miles since a lot of the car manufacturers are going to 7,500 or even 10,000 mile intervals between oil changes. |
Question: | So, is this stuff like Slick 50 or is it more like a liquid cleaner like Sea Foam |
Answer: | Probably not. Your best chance would be to use bg109 Engine Compression Restorer. It is a additive you run in your oil before performing an oil change that help breakdown and clean sludge and carbon buildup. If you have some trash causing a lifter to leak down that would be the best chance. It is definitely not a guaranteed fix though. Some people have great luck with it and some still have the problem after using it. If you read the reviews on amazon for bg 109 you'll see where it worked great for some people and didn't do anything for others. |

BG Advanced Formula MOA is formulated with 100 percent synthetic chemistry to protect engine components and fortify all brands of engine oil over extended oil change intervals. Long drain intervals, 10,000 miles (16,000 km) – some as high as 15,000 miles (25,000 km) – are quickly becoming the norm in owner’s manuals. Unfortunately, longer time between oil changes puts a lot more strain on engine oil. Extended oil change intervals provide a lengthy incubation period for carbon deposits. Even high-quality synthetic oils will degrade eventually. Unless the oil is fortified with enhanced protection against high heat, premature and hard-to-remove deposits will form on many engine components. The potent detergency and antioxidant system in BG Advanced Formula MOA prevents engine oil degradation and thickening under even the most severe stop-and-go, high temperature driving. BG Advanced Formula MOA: - Allows safe extended oil change intervals - Ensures reliability of critical engine components - Prevents excessive oil consumption - Extends engine life - Low Speed Pre-Ignition (LSPI) safe.
- Keeps piston rings from sticking
- Reduces wear
- Prevents sludge and varnish
- Prevents excessive oil consumption
- Meets API SN Plus standards
User questions & answers
Question: | How are these added to the car |
Answer: | I'm not a professional mechanic but my mechanic I have had for 20 years introduced us to it. This is a high end additive product not found at the local convenience store. You should be able to add it to any motor oil. And yes I use synthetic(Mobile 1) in all my vehicles. |
Question: | What comes with this purchase |
Answer: | more like slick 50. Pat Goss, a radio talk show host (also on Motor Week) recommends it - based on scientific studies. |

Question: | Blend syntetic? Full syntetic or convencional |
Answer: | Yes you can. Use 1/3 of a can. |
Question: | How many miles is that oil for |
Answer: | Anytime, but I'd recommend waiting until you change your oil. That way you'll get your money's worth |
Question: | Is this conventional 5w 20 api premium grade detergent oil |
Answer: | The 44k simply goes into your fuel tank at fill up. Try to run out most of that fuel before refilling. Let's see if I can get the other two correct-I BELIEVE the EPR gets added to your oil prior to changing. Run the engine about 5 minutes then drain. Upon refilling the crankcase oil. add the MOA and you are all done! BTW-unless you have some serious issues, you should notice some performance improvement depending on the mileage. I sold this stuff 20 years ago as a service advisor and I still use it (and pay full price now). |
Question: | Is full synthetic amsoil good for high mileage suv? My 2010 Lincoln navigator has 143000 miles. I've been using 5w20 syn-blend oil every 3 to 4k miles |
Answer: | one 11oz can of MOA (part number 115), one 11oz can of EPR (part number 109) and one 11oz can of 44K (part number 208) |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this condition seals as well |
Answer: | Conventional motor oil. Manufacturer offers $5 rebate. |
Question: | Can this be used with synthetic blend motor oil |
Answer: | I just change at 4000 - 5000 or when looks dirty. It’s your car’s blood.Do what you know must be done . Do you want bad blood in your body. Same thing! |
Question: | Can you use this in a diesel motor |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | Is advanced formula safe to use in conventional oil |
Answer: | If any car is turbocharged it will likely benefit from full synthetic oil. Also, if the vehicle is operated in extreme conditions (real hot or real cold) then it too can enjoy the benefit of synthetic oil. Your car has been doing OK with what you're using so there's no compelling reason to go for any boutique oil. Knowing only this, I'd stick with what you've been using. Any of today's 0W-20, 5W-20 oils are better oils to start with. It has to do with the basestocks. |
