Answer:	It is based on the capacity of your cooling system. If your system is 12qts and lower, one bottle will do. If your system is over that then you will need two bottles.

Answer:	They list a "Heavy Duty Clean" where you leave the product in for 3 to 6 hours of normal driving over a "few" days. I read that as daily drive it for 1 to 2 hours a day for 3 days. Then they say to drain it. I can't say if it will be destructive if it's in there for a week, but I have commuted with it in my truck for the three days and dumped it and it worked fine.
Question:	Is this small bottle a concemtrate or is it ready to use
Answer:	It doesn't confirm if it's ok or not for dexcool systems on the bottle, itself. However, I have used it to flush my 2000 Sierra without any issues. As long as you thoroughly flush your system with water after you run the cleaner in it, it should be fine.

Answer:	Probably. I’d test a small area first. The concern is that without water, residue may be left on which will stink up the passenger area when the engine gets hot.

Answer:	I've used it on everything in my Camaro, just have a hose with decent psi rating in it handy to spray away anything left, it's not good to leave it under there while motor gets hot again.

Answer:	Not quality chrome. Cheap imitation chrome may or may not. Off the store shelf degreaser is mild. They discontinued a stronger version a few years back andy's did not mess up chrome. You need to take care around plastic, alternator and rubber. That's with any cleaner.

Answer:	When I had the fuel injector pump on my Dodge Cummins Diesel engine replaced. The Cummins rep said this was the only additive they recommend. I have been using it with every tank of fuel since. About 3 years. I order the gallon through Amazon. Best price around.

Answer:	This product only clean internal fuel system (fuel injection system). Throttle is not part of the internal fuel system under fuel injection system. This product is for engine that has fuel injection system. However, my crazy friend mix it with gasoline and put it in his lawnmower. It took care lawnmower start-up problem. I have to let you know, You will be taking your own risk to do something that is not from the instructions.
Question:	Is this good for chrome exhaust tips
Answer:	Dura Lube Advanced Fuel System Treatment is only for up to 15 gallons of fuel tank. The Dura Lube "Severe Fuel System Cleaner" is for up to 42 gallons of fuel tank. I use to tried the "Advanced Fuel System Treatment" but I switch to the "Severe Fuel System Cleaner" and it is better too. My friend's lawn mowers got problem (motor running high and low) and he added 2 oz this fuel treatment in his lawn movers. And the problem is gone. And his 1998 Toyota Corolla's engine RPM is unusually high. And one bottle of the "Severe Fuel System Cleaner" took care of the high RPM problem.

Answer:	I wouldn’t mix it with water. I haven’t tried it on tires, but I’m sure it would be fine. I use it to remove oil from the belly of an airplane. So, it is safe for aluminum aircraft skin, as is. Tires, full strength.

Answer:	Most likely, it doesn't seem to be very corrosive, and it can cut through baked on sugar with relative ease , I've used it on standard steel, and it shows no sign of attacking the metal, though, I'd use it with hot water and a mild abrasive and promptly rinse it for best results and lowest risk of corrosion

Answer:	This product works best on organic soils, and red clay is a mineral stain. It won't harm the stone, but I recommend using it stronger than label instructions. Using a pump-up, garden-style sprayer, mix Oxysolve 50/50 with water. Apply to a section of the stone and scrub with a non-metallic deck brush. Rinse before the cleaning solution has a chance to dry, or it will be more difficult to remove. IF the stain is lightened, but not completely gone, reapply the same way.
Question:	Anyone tried this on sealed asphalt oil stains
Answer:	Thanks for the question... If your walls are concrete or block/brick or some other typical exterior wall surface, you can use the Concrete and Driveway, or the Total Outdoor versions of Oxy Solve. For soot, I would recommend making the dilution for manual application stronger than what is on the label. Please try 1-part-Oxy Solve to 10-parts-water. Apply to the surface in sections so that you can rinse before the product has a chance to dry. Apply, let sit for 3-5 minutes, scrub, and rinse at highest pressure - or apply, let sit for 3-5 minutes, and pressure wash to rinse at highest pressure. If you can apply the solution with a pump-up, garden-type of sprayer and then pressure wash at high pressure to rinse, you'll be able to cover a larger area than if you use the pressure washer chemical application setting to apply the product (which sucks down product very quickly.) I hope this information helps and that Simple Green Oxy Solve does a great job on the soot and grime you are dealing with. Thanks!

Answer:	Don't try to peel it off. Just pierce it through the center (not at the edge) with a sharp pointed blade, like one on a little Swiss Army keychain knife. Leave the slit alone and don't try to peel any of the seal off. If you just pierce it in the center and don't try to pull off or peel any pieces it will remain intact and tightly adhere to the bottle neck and thus continue to provide an effective seal when you close the cap.
Question:	I found an old unopened bottle of the original concentrate, not the Plus. Probably 10 years old. Is it still OK to use
Answer:	Yes, its fine to use. The ingredients don't go bad for maybe 20 plus years or more

Answer:	Both products contain the same cleaning additive (polyetheramine), the "fuel injector cleaner" just contains slightly less (and is usually slightly cheaper) than the "fuel system cleaner".

Answer:	I would not recommend this for diesel engines, and would definitely not use it for an LPG-fueled engine.
Question:	Will this Redline product damage my 02 sensors with LONG TERM use? No one seems to address this issue
Answer:	20 year auto tech. No. The O2 sensors are designed to detect changes in fuel. Specificly the air/fuel ratio. They are not as fragile as most people think. They in no way could be damaged by using this product. This is actually the only thing I use and can highly recommend when it comes to fuel additives.
Question:	Is this product better than the much cheaper STP fuel cleaner
Answer:	I'll tell you this the difference being only a few dollars considering this product is in the $10 range I wouldn't bother trying anything else. I'll admit I've never tried any other product, but 2,200 mile after the first use I still see a node improvement in the fuel economy and have the smooth acceleration. I'll he sticking to the every 5k recommended use. Hope this helps

Answer:	Hold bottle in left hand. with right hand, twist cap counter clockwise. Break foil seal on bottle. Answer:	I have never had a problem. I do run the engine while I am spraying off the cleaner (not before) just to be sure I don't have a problem. My cars are in good shape and well maintained which also prevents problems.

Question:	can this product be used on motorcycle engines
Answer:	If you have an older car with a distributor cover it, also cover the alternator, fuse box and I usually disconnect the battery. Best way I found to use this is to hose down the engine the night before to get off surface dirt with griot's car wash next day when it is dry I use the engine cleaner and agitate it with a boar bristle brush, hose it off good and dry with a microfiber towel, I also spray it with their engine detailer an wax the painted parts. Took first place at the car show.
Question:	Does the alternator need to be protected
Answer:	While it did a great job of cleaning my engines, I don’t know if it’s recommended for your purpose.

Question:	Why does this take so long to ship, several weeks
Answer:	It leaves a film on the surface so would not recommend on carbon fiber. Works well on rubber products that will allow some of the product to soak in. On hard plastic the product just sits on the surface and requires removal of any excess product to make it look good. I'd recommend Griot's paint sealant for a lasting shine.
Question:	Is it safe for chrome
Answer:	Don't know, only ordered the Engine Dressing, not the kit. The engine dressing is a great product,,,
