Answer:	Yes, that is correct. For in-season, use 1oz for 10 gallons. For storage, use 1oz for 5 gallons. If you have a 5 gallon tank. Use 1/2oz for in-season use and 1oz for storage. Do not over treat.
Question:	once opened, what is shelf life of stabil, diesel stabilizer
Answer:	Bottle states that it will be good for 2 years after opening. They even have a spot where you can fill in the open date to be sure. Just note that it stabilizes for 2 years from opening. So, opening it, letting it sit for 23 months, then adding it to fuel, will only stabilize the fuel for an additional month.
Question:	Does this do anything for the Algae
Answer:	This is just a fuel stabilizer. There are other additives you can get that take care of algae, but this isn't one of those.
Question:	Can i use this in my no.2 home heating oil every now and then, to prevent settlements and water? help
Answer:	No. 2 heating oil is very similar to diesel fuel so yes, you can but thorough mixing is critical. You can't just pour thus product into your already filled tank. Ideally, you would want to mix this product in as your heating oil is being pumped into the tank. This will increase the shelf life of your heating oil, but it won't stop sediment that is already in the oil from a rusty or dirty tank. Also be sure you mix in the recommended right ratio of product to heating oil.

Answer:	Diesel engines run at very high temperatures. They can burn vegetable oil, etc. So if you over added supplement to your tank, it should not bother it assuming that you added some percentage higher. If you added 300% or more, then I would contact the manufacturer or consider partially draining the system and adding more diesel.
Question:	This will also make your Diesel Fuel be able to be stored longer correct? How long can it be stored? 1 year
Answer:	I bought it because I live in Vermont and I own a tractor. Winters here are sometimes below -0. It prevents fuel gelling in temperatures when the temperature gets below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. As for how long can it be stored?..Im not sure if it is going to help you to store your fuel longer. I got it because it is a supplement anti-freezer for diesel fuel. My tractor gelled up on me last year and stopped running. And it worked great.

Answer:	Hi, I have a 132 litre tank, 35 gallons, and I put about one third of the RedLine bottle in when I am almost empty. It does not hurt to put more in, so normally I put about a third in regardless of how much fuel is in the tank. I like to put it in before fueling up so that the fuel being poured into the tank can mix the RedLine through the tank well.I hope this helps!

What is +Cetane Boost?

Cetane is a powerful energy compound that improves the ignition quality of fuel. There is a direct relationship between a diesel fuel’s cetane number and its ignition point. The lower the cetane number, the longer the ignition delay. Answer:	It depends on the tank's capacity. A 20oz bottle treats up to 150 Gallons. If it makes it easier, this would translate roughly to 7.5oz of treatment per gallon of diesel fuel. Hope this helps!

Excerpt from their brochure: "Enzymes contained in Star Tron® can in fact "repair" old fuel, restoring cetane and octane ratings, dispersing water and breaking down sludge and other deposits." Haven't found any other info relating to cetane. I can testify this product was recommended to me by an over-the-road trucker many years ago when my Dodge 3500 diesel pickup developed black mold throughout the fuel system. Very expensive repair by the way. Been using Star Tron ever since with no more mold problems. It does what it advertises.

Answer:	Yes, you can add it to a full tank and yes, normal rocking will mix it up. Each 1/2 gallon jug treats 250 gallons of diesel fuel. It won't hurt anything to over treat the fuel but the benefits diminish. In other words, treating 125 gallons of diesel requires 1/2 of a jug. Putting in the whole jug will not get you twice the benefit.
Question:	Will this work in hot weather 90-105 degrees
Answer:	I have run this product for 2 years now...our summer temps reach 105-110 degrees at times and I have had no issues with it, I have had nothing but great results with this in my 7.3 diesel.
Question:	Will this prevent diesel bug
Answer:	Diesel bug is caused by water in your tank caused by condensation. Stanadyne performance contains special demulsifiers that cause tiny water droplets to come out of suspension/emulsion, so the filter/separator can more effectively remove water. So, to answer your question directly, no, it will not prevent diesel bug if you have water sitting in your tank. However it will help prevent it by making it easier for your filter separator to remove water. The key is to use this additive and take steps to prevent condensation. You can do that by not letting your vehicle sit around with less than a full tank. Keep your tank full, especially if you live in an area with high humidity. A large fuel tank can add up to a pint of water overnight if not filled.
