If you wear boots with them they should fit near perfectly, they may be a bit long on you considering you are a little shorter than I am. The waist size is quite large but they have sufficient waist adjustmant (velcrow belts) and you can get a snug fit and also have plenty of room ofr some extra layers underneat if need be in the cooler months Thats all i can really tell you right now since they are in storage currently and I can not measure them, hope its helpful |

| Answer: | I would not recomend trying to shorten these pants by anyone other than a seamstress or someone with experience sewing. They are made of woven nylon which will unravel if cut. They are a well made pant and I am pleased with the purchase. Be aware, though, that they run a bit small. |

| Answer: | This probably won't be super helpful, but we found sizing to be a difficult guess... We actually returned the first pair we received because we ordered them as pant size, but found they differ... The waist is way bigger than we thought it would (or should) be, and the legs are tighter than we thought they would be... Anyway, my husband's waist is 36' normally, but the 36waist size is way too big,yet the pants are tight. We originally ordered 38' waist, thinking it needs to be large enough to cover pants, but those were ridiculously big, so we sent them back for the 36.. Still too big, but we will keep these and look into altering them... And oddly, the 38' waist ones fit great in the legs... Again, probably not helpful, but that was our experience. We like them in every other way, though.. They are great for the price. Good luck.. Happy riding! |

I did have to have help getting in them as in zipping them up due I'm right dominate and left. As for the waist, I feel that they rode perfect on my backside. I believe you'll enjoy these. Just a reminder, that you'll have to cut the length you desire because they come uncut alter on length. Just reminding because some do not know this. So have a girlfriend, significant other or hubby help cut the length. Always measure twice, cut one...I hope I was a bit of a help. |
