Answer:	Hi, Amazon has asked me to assist. My advice should be used only as a reference. I m sure the seller would be more accurate helping you out with the correct sizing. My thoughts are that this type of protective gear should be worn fairly tight to protect a rider from getting rash, burn from sliding down the asphalt in a fall which could be nasty. But the fitment should be neither super tight like the Under Armour base layer compression nor snug. In case of an accident the snug fit tends to flip around which leads to a lack of protection to the rider. I've been wearing a 2XL which is snug in the shoulder, waist area. Just didn't bother to get an exchange yet. I m 165lbs, 32" waist, height 5'9". You are a big guy. 2XL should fit you right. Just make sure to clear it with the seller. The product quality is awesome have no complaints so far. MADE IN CHINA.

I also recommend you invest in to the knee and shin guards it's also worth it. I had been side swiped on September 28 the.
