Helmet sizing information

• To achieve proper helmet fitment, begin by finding your head circumference size using the method described below. Remember that the helmet size you choose should fit around the crown of your head comfortably with no pressure points. The cheek pads should fit firmly around your face. Once your chin strap is fastened, grab the helmet's chin bar and move it side to side. Your cheeks should move with the helmet, which should not slide across your face. Different thickness cheek pads can be purchased to obtain the perfect fit.

Head measurement instructions

• Wrap a flexible tape measure around your head approximately one inch above the eyebrows and ears. Use this measurement (in either inches or centimeters) to find your helmet size in the chart above.

My ears get folded over when I put my helmet on

• That’s normal. Watch a MotoGP race, and you’ll even see the pros adjusting their ears as they gear up. As long as you can push your ears back to a natural position and your ears do not hurt, you’re good to go. Again, it’s all about how the helmet fits once it’s actually in position.

I can’t even get my head into the helmet, even though the chart said this was my size

• That might actually be your size. GLX helmets have more neckroll cushioning than others. Hold the helmet by the two straps, with your thumbs pressing the straps against the helmet. Gently spread the helmet’s opening a little, then try pulling it over your head. If it still doesn’t fit, don’t force it. Stop and try the next size up.

I think my helmet is too tight

• If you can’t put it on at all, then that’s obviously too tight. If you can get it on, but it hurts where it presses against your head, that’s also too tight. If it’s snug all around, too snug to chew gum, that’s about right. Don’t forget about that 15 percent to 20 percent break-in that will occur.

The LARGE is very tight for me and I have the thinnest balaclava I can find. my ears actually hurt after wearing it for a weekend and prying it on and off. I hope this helps. I should have returned it but I needed it for a ride and thought it would break in a bit more than it has... AWESOME helmet though - temperatures around 0 degrees F I was warm.

Answer:	It is good for average rain... the kind you and still see where you're going. The zippers do leak a bit, but as a computer jacket, its great. A torrential downpour is a different story (this is the kind of rain you don't even want to drive in!). I was caught in a storm like that during the monsoon season in S. Korea, couldn't find a dry spot on me (but water got past my gloves, neck at the helmet, through my waistband... couldn't determine how bad the zippers may be). It's a great all around jacket (the pants are nice too), it is still my go-to riding gear.
