| Answer: | The answers to this question I've seen on the various motorcycle forums have been yes, it's OK to jump start with a car/truck battery but do NOT have other vehicle running. Basically you can use other battery to jump as bike would be using it to actually power bike for starting. Still may have longer term issues with dead bike battery if discharged too low down the road. |
