Answer:	I purchased the same battery this past February from a different seller and it has been working great. Check the face of the battery to make sure it indicates 3200mAh, 3.85V, and 12.32Wh. If not, they sent you the wrong battery. If it is the correct battery I would then check with the seller to try and get some compensation. If you installed it correctly it certainly should not have "killed" your phone. Good luck.
