Answer:	Yes, wind will damage it if it is not in a protected location. I left my ATV with this cover on it in an open field overwinter. I anchored the cover as best I could with fence posts and rocks. By early spring the cover was pretty torn and ragged and I had to throw it away. I'll buy another of these covers and put the ATV in a sheltered location this time. I don't believe the fault was with the cover itself.
