Answer:	i don't think it will fit an '87. It's made to fit a TJ (97' - 06') Wrangler. It fits VERY snugly on my '97, so I do not think it will fit an '87.

Answer:	Yes, mine came as a light gray. It should be darker, but I guess their definition of charcoal is different than ours. I'm satisfied regardless of color. My only complaint was that it didn't secure around the doors.

Answer:	Soft top needs to be completely down and folded to the rear. The soft top DOES NOT have to be removed. The cover utilizes the channels to secure it to the tub. Answer:	No I dont suggest using Everbrite. For your kitchen copper I suggest using Protectaclear. You will want the clean them up and make them look as you want them to. Coat them with 1-2 coats of the ProtectaClear and they will stay clean and bright for years.
Question:	With the doors on, can you still get in the jeep with the cover on? How do you get pooled water off the top when it rains
Answer:	Everbrite is great to seal copper bird baths. I would recommend applying the coating over the entire birdbath including the glass chips. You can coat it either before or after you apply the mosaic but Everbrite will seal the entire birdbath to protect the copper and the mosaic as well. Three coats are recommended. It sounds beautiful.
Question:	Where does the straps for the door flap go around
Answer:	No. Even though Everbrite and ProtectaClear have some similar characteristics, they are different coatings and are made from different resins. ProtectaClear is a harder resin that is better on highly polished metals. Everbrite has UV blockers and is a little thicker and is better for painted metals, anodized metals and rusted metal. If you would like to know which coating is better for your project, check out the decision graphic on each Everbrite and ProtectaClear product.

Answer:	No, this application is for the 2007-2018 JK it will NOT fit a TJ, it will be way too big. The TJ application is part number 81037-09.

Answer:	I have had it on for a couple bad downpours, we do not get a lot of rain, but when it does rain in the Southwest its torrential. No leaks. The Item really is of pretty high quality. I have a antenna mounts on the the center roof cross/roll bar, so mine does not fit as good as it would on a "stock jeep" as intended, so this allows for "pooling" of water, and its so water proof/resistant, the next day I have to go move all the water off the roof and none of it penetrates or is even damp on the inside where the water pools due to my antenna mounts, and this is after hours and hours of gallons of water sitting on top of the cover.

Answer:	You have to have the side rails from your soft top still mounted to the tub so that the sides of the Trail Cover can hook under it, like your soft top windows do. At the rear, there are bungee straps that loop around your brake lights and then one in the middle that loops around your tire carrier.
