Answer:	I would not get on the freeway with this bike. It is a city bike. All though, it is a very nice and well built bike. It runs great and it gets me around town . Very dependable. And comfortable. I will buy another one when this one wears out.

Answer:	For 5th gear this is what I have seen: 7,000 rpm = 50 mph The start of the red line on the tachometer is 9,000. So the maximum of 70 mph listed in some places is driving it at red line - not recommended. I think the best mileage is probably at about 4,000 rpm, which is about 32-33 mph. Driving around breaking it in at slow to moderate speeds (on and off paved roads) I got 92 mpg on the first couple gallons used. After it is well broken in I think I'll be OK at 55 mph, but I don't think much faster continuously for long distances. As with other enduros owned, I'd like a lower 1st gear added and a higher gear added, for a total of 7 gears. It doesn't hurt to dream. . . . :)

Answer:	I don’t think it’d work safely with firearms, I use it for hold various smaller tools like wire cutters and pliers and I gotta say stuff drops out all the time and it’s so annoying. Originally I got it as a alternative to a regular purse or backpack because I forget stuff once I set it down and it worked fine for that purpose.

If the filler cap protrudes, the tank bag's front mounting straps are not spread apart enough to go around the filler neck and cap and forward on top of the tank to the steering neck, necessary for a secure and proper mounting. I found this out trying to mount it to an IMS 4.9 gallon tank. The wedge shape of the bag did work well with the IMS rear slope, and the capacity and features were welcome compared to other similar bags on the market.

Answer:	Not sure what “size of the D” means... sounds suspicious. but as a fellow troll it will fit my tool roll for my bike with plenty room for a rotor lock and tire patch kit. picture a paper towel roll that’s got 2/3 of the roll left to it. That’s about how big it is. I’m sure the bag will fit whatever you can mount it to.. but like the description it’s specifically designed for motorcycles. There’s also dimensions listed in the description if you read it. I suggest a ruler to measure out the dimensions once you read them to paint the picture for how large or small the “d” is and remember you start with the first tick mark on the ruler not the edge, just in case you didn’t know that either. Don’t wanna miss out on any length you can get.
Question:	Will it fit a Yamaha Bolt swingarm
Answer:	In theory you could as in have the ability. But if it’s the forks your referring to... mounting it to one of the forks I’d be worried about fork compression while riding. Your fender could bounce up with compression and squeeze the bag... also concern is anything contacting a painted surface with vibration is bound to damage the paint over time. So if mounted vertically I’d consider all moving parts to make sure it doesn’t compromise range of motion of the parts and does not contact a painted surface with lots of vibration. Safe riding!

Question:	I prefer painted hardware, no chrome. The pictures of this item show both. Which is correct
Answer:	I've found that if it has any significant weight in It, it will... (a little)...But for the most part no, a couple of bottles of water, hat, phone, sunglasses etc... It really has to be significant, say a gallon of milk for example, in order for it to shift. And even then it isn't bothersome. I've got it mounted on a Ninja 1000.
Question:	Will fit 2005 RoadStar
Answer:	one set is to convert the bag into a back pack, the one that looks like a fat "H" is the one that you attach the bag to the seat with- remove your seat, lay the "H" where the seat was, put seat back on the bike on top of the "H" - now you have 4 points of attachment sticking out of your seat that you clip the bag to, and tighten down the straps for security

Answer:	It is soft on the underside, and attaches with straps that meet midway under the bag itself. I purchased a luggage rack. The straps are fairly short so I think a rack is necessary. Best of luck.
