Unfortunately it fell apart just trying it on in the house so we never used it and just returned that one, too. But I would think it would fit a dog 20 pounds more than my dog. If you don't have a soft tape measure, wrap a leash or rope around the dog's girth and measure that.

Answer:	Yes, you clamp the buckle on the opposite side of the locking mechanism so it could theoretically be cut very short, like maybe 12 inches at shortest, there are just no lines to show you where to cut shorter than 28 inches, but a measuring tape could easily fix that.

Once trimmed, out the buckle back on and then check to see if the rachets are in range. If not, repeat and trim more. Answer:	I don't have this exact model (no red lights) but they fit sorta. The distance between the clip and the body of the light is too short. Out of 2 lights I got one to clip after a bunch of fiddling about, the other I never could get it to clip in properly. I used 3m double side arcylic tape and mounted it that way. The lights look great and are plenty bright.
