Answer:	I live in Arizona too. I have been seeing headlights wrapped with this type of film. It requires a heat gun or how blow dryer to apply. I am sure that our heat will just help with the adhesion. I was told that it shrinks when the heat is applied. So we might need to make it a tad bigger than the cooler states will need.

Answer:	Sorry for the late response. I don't know the official answer, but I just waited overnight and drove it the next day as usual. If you use wet application, you may get a some small water bubbles that will disappear as the water vaporizes. So, after a couple days, I cleaned the serface and re-squeegeed it. I also went over the edges to make sure the film was wrapping over and laying down.

Answer:	if you mean, vinyl wood grain down the side of station wagon, yes ... it should work fine. I used some of it to wrap a couple autographed license plates on my car. Keep signature from being washed away. make sure the vinyl is very clean and dry. make sure you have a helper, is not as easy to use as the u tube videos make it look. spray your water, get a good squeegie to push the water and bubbles out from under the wrap. this material is very high quality. it will change the sheen of the wood grain you have on the car now. I suggest, you apply a small piece where you can see if is what you like. you can peel it off, easy enough. it offers some UV protection. Go to the 3M website for information regarding UV protection. 3M offers many different products with degrees of UV protection. I used this on 2 of my cars to protect the paint. remains as clear and protective as when I put it on. Thinking, maybe 3 years ago. Best of luck with your project. Take your time, watch a few online videos, have a friend or two over. My buddy that that has done several complete car wraps, was telling me, even on small jobs , use a blow dryer to make material pliable .

Answer:	I assume it is because the backing has the 3M logo all over it just like in the picture. I have had it on a year and I haven't had an issue with it; no yellowing or pealing.

Answer:	I think it's very long lived. It's been on my race car for several years and I haven't noticed any decay. A word of note. It is a relatively thick film. It has some stretch but it's really for flat surfaces. If you are talking about door molding, you will be spending quality time with a razor blade as I imagine that it's a fussy install.

Answer:	Paint will fade over time with or without it being applied.

Answer:	Hey Greg: I bought 2 rolls of 6-inch by 4 or 5 feet (60 inch length sounds right)Have now installed it on car and is almost invisible on noSe of our Prius. I also tested stretching a leftover scrap and the 3M stuff was incredibly stretchable yet unpuncturable--I could not puncture or tear that scrap. Watch the You Tube videos for installation as that will help get it on without bubbles.

Answer:	They cut bulk lengths to the sizes for sale on Amazon. No they don't always do it great either. I've received damaged edges before, but was able to plan my trimming around the damage.

Answer:	It's a sheet of plastic, you cut it to shape. You also have to cut slits to manage curves and poke tiny holes with a needle to let out bubbles. If you're slightly competent at things it's no issue.
Question:	Can you use water and a drop of soap to apply this? I saw a comment saying not to use water, but it was posted by a non-professional
Answer:	You definitely want to apply film like this to a a clean surface using the wet methods. (If restoring headlights, fully sanded or chem treated to strip outer yellowing then polished). Then apply the film using the soapy water method, probably a heat gun for stretching if you have odd shapes to cover. Using the wet method you squeegee all the water and airbubbless, trim to size. The remaining water evaporates through the film over the course of a few days. Check out videos online regarding this to get a good idea. Window tinting works the same way, car wraps too if I'm not mistaken. Whatever you do, don't do this dry, it will end up horrible and full of air bubbles.

Answer:	Yes. It absolutely will. This wrap has a tangible thickness to it which in turn will absorb, by far, much of the abuse from most road debris. Ultimately, this feature, along with UV blocking, will help preserve all your headlight parts.
Question:	How dark is the light tint ? Do people use them on they're headlights
Answer:	The simple answer is I don’t think this product is designed to prevent leaks that have occurred. There are so many variables to a leaking situation. Will it be applied to glass or plastic? At most it may be a temporary Band-Aid. I would look for a more permanent solution to the problem.

Answer:	Yes. And it has a quality clear effect. I have had mine on my headlights for more than a year and they and the film are as clear as they say I did the job. This stuff is a must-have!

Answer:	No, it must be applied wet with a mixture of soap and water. It’s not easy to work with when the headlights are curved. It’s best applied on flat headlights.
