| Answer: | Since they are a single "filament" bulb and have only one contact, the only problem you could have is if your vehicle is incorrectly wired. So technically, yes, they are polarity sensitive, since the 12V+ must be connected to the contact at the base of the bulb, and the 12V- must be connected to the outer sleeve of the bulb. But as I said, unless your vehicle is wired incorrectly, that is how the socket will be. However, if your question is simply whether it matters if the bulb is rotated 180 degrees in the socket, then the answer is no, it does not matter. |

Even is your truck has the code, the chances are 50/50 that it will trip. |
