Answer:	This is 68 and 69k rated. 8 means they can be submerged in 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 min. 9 means that can resist high temperature water jets from a close range. If their ratings are correct, yes they can be submerged for up to 30 minutes in about 4 1/2 feet of water.
