Answer:	The key is all metal, it is a round key not flat with a good enough thickness, so the likelihood of it breaking I think would be very rare. I cannot envision a reason for it not to unlock unless the internal mechanism where the key is inserted was damaged. In that event a locksmith would have to be called. I specifically wanted an all metal key as the other keys have a hard plastic top with a little open bracket space for it to be attached to my key ring and this little bracket space broke on my last one, so I was not able to attach it to my key ring and I did not want it separate in case I forgot it, or it was mislaid. In my search for an all metal key this was the one steering lock that had one. I hope this helps

Answer:	The claw completely slides out of it self so as to fit around any standard size tire. It probably would not fit a large 4x4 mud grip truck tire. It should fit your tire. I bought it to fit a tandem trailer tire, it would fit my 2013 GMC Sierra standard truck tire.
