Answer:	One description called the surrounding cover a sleeve, so you might look for openings into the interior that do not have zippers, maybe an overlap or velcro. Don't overheat the gell package. That shortens its life. I last bought one 10 years ago for my son with a badly strained back. My original purchase was from a department store Xmas suggestion display 15-20 years ago. So I don't have current knowledge of how it is constructed. Sorry.

You could also just use it at room temperature for a seat cushion. We are average weight people (150 and 195#)and have not crushed it when sitting on it. It works great on bleachers and in lawn chairs. My husband uses it in winter to keep his seat warm when plowing snow with his tractor. Hope this helps.

I lay the hard canvas side (Orange) on the ground or what ever I'm sitting on to help keep it from ripping te soft (black) or (camouflage) side.
