Answer:	Each seat is different, and it is almost impossible to totally secure the cushion. I used bungee cords and attached the front straps to the rear of the seat base. Also placed the bottom seat bonnet behind the plastic that covered the side and base of my seat. They are in my opinion secure BUT not totally.
Question:	If airbags need to deploy, are the buckle straps designed and stitched to "blow out" to allow this
Answer:	Yes. As the description says: "Side airbag compatible". There is also a picture of various supported seat types.
Question:	Does it fits a 2004 toyota highlander front seats
Answer:	To install these in our 2000 Audi A6 we attached the head part with the provided straps. Then we used a piece of wire to tie the middle two loops around the back of the seat (where it connects the top to the bottom half of the seat - hiding the wire under the seat - and pulling the unit tight to the seat fold. That connected the top and midldle very securely. Finally, we used a few pieces of double sided carpet tape on the seat bottom itself to hold the bottom section tight to the seat so it didn't move when drivers got in and out of the car. It has been installed for several weeks now and has stayed in place very well. We did not find that the bottom part (seat bottom) loops did much to hold it in place which is why we used the double sided carpet tape to secure it. Hope this helps.
