Question:	I noticed that the glass breaker pin is not exactly aligned with the opening (aperture). Did I get a defective piece or is it by design
Answer:	I'm not sure about the alignment question because I'm at work and keep my tool in my truck. However, I believe there are instructions on how to test the glass breaker on the manufacturer's website.

Answer:	I haven't used it (one would hope to never have to). But, I don't see either the cutting blade (for seat belt) or the punch (for window) degrade much after each use. Much more likely would be one losing it in the wreck upon escaping.

Answer:	The ResQMe Distributor agreement says, "Company warrants the Product to be free from defects in materials andworkmanship for 6 months from the date of Delivery, provided that they are usedappropriately and proper maintenance procedures are followed." However, I searched "ResQMe Warranty" and found a document that says, "This product, from nov8, is warranted to the original purchaser for a period of five years from the original purchase date under normal use and service against defective materials or workmanship." That document also asks for $4.95 for "shipping and handling" for a warranty claim.
Question:	how long this tool can be keep and still in function? how do I know the time it might lose its function
Answer:	I don't really know the answer to this question. The window punch is spring loaded so I think it's possible the spring could wear out. This is not a product you would be using frequently so I think the spring would last a long time.

Answer:	No it does not...however it does come with a plastic piece that offers the option to (hear me out) screw it into, I'm assuming, your door or under the dash?? (I'm still trying to figure that out) To act as a "base" for the tool to snap onto.....think of the plastic piece that a new razor is attached to, in the package, its like that and the tool just snaps in place. You could easily swap 3m tape for the screws to avoid damaging ur vehicle. That being said, I prefer to keep mine in my consol right beside me for easy access. Wherever u store it, u definitely want it within reach and if its in the visor, that may make it difficult for let's say, your passenger to grab in the event you are knocked unconscious and their seat belt is locked up. In the console at least, its in between both the driver and passenger and easy to grab when panic starts to set in.

Answer:	I don't see any reason why it won't work on newer cars. I am driving a 2019 suv so I purchased this emergency window breaker for that.

Answer:	No I've not tested it. I'll tell you the one my son carried went into the draw after I gave him this as a stocking stuffer. I'm not a big fan of everything electric in vehicle's. I hope I helped. Each one of my children has one now including me.

Answer:	It has holes in the mount, that you can screw this to whatever you want. I have mine mounted differently in my vehicles...but still secured! AND inreach!

Luxury brands > Lexus, Audi, Cadillac etc have been using it for over 10 years. NON OF THESE HAMMERS CAN BREAK LAMINATED GLASS. If you have laminated glass don't waste time trying to break it. Answer:	Ive gotten this email before,with the same question.I don't know.I don't even know what the heck it is.I don't own one,and never bought one

Question:	How do you turn on the white led flashlight? the main button only turns on the red flashing light
Answer:	Just above the button that turns on the red flasher is a smaller black button that turns on the flashlight. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Question:	How do I open it to replace batteries
Answer:	I struggled with that for a while too, but finally got it. On the bottom end beneath the blade area, there is a small black cap that unscrews enough so you can pop the cap off. That is where you fill it with batteries. The battery shaped indentation on the side of the tool shows you the direction the batteries go. Hope this helps.
