Answer:	It comes with one filter, but the filters are fairly cheap (about $9 for a two pack) here on Amazon. As for how many cigarettes it holds... I'm not sure what you mean. It has slots for 7 lit cigarettes, but there is room for 15 to 20 butts to fit in the tray comfortably (meaning the lid will still close tightly) before having to be emptied. I hope that helps. I love this because it's the quietest smokeless I have ever found.
Question:	How often do you need to change the filter? I use mine up to 10 times a day, only using it while smoking and closing the lid right after
Answer:	We recommend changing the filter every 1 to 3 months.
Question:	Is there an option to use an A/C adapter rather than batteries
Answer:	I just purchased mine, and it still uses the batteries, however after a quick 15 minute modification I was able to convert it over to using USB. With the way I did it you can STILL use batteries if you want, and it still turns off when you shut the lid, but you can also connect it to any USB port (your computer, phone charger, portable battery pack, etc.) and power the ashtray that way instead. The fan runs much faster when using the USB because I'm supplying it with more power than the pair of D batteries could provide, but using a smaller USB charger would fix that, or you could add a resister on to the cable or a variable fan power knob. Like I said, it wasn't hard to do, and you could get away with doing it using nothing more than a spare USB phone charging cable. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll make a quick diagram.

Answer:	I've had mine since the beginning of August. Mine still works just fine. The black filters are washable. And it comes with 2 so you can still use the ashtray while the other dries. It charges up over night and it lasts a long time in between the next charge.

Answer:	I haven’t tested it in such a condition but I would recommend a large plastic sealable bag with your used ashcan and a bandanna or piece of fabric and a day or two to see what happens. This is a sturdy product but I don’t think it was meant for travel.

Answer:	I keep mine plugged in. The button is always red. When I press the button for speed 1 or 2 it’s more of a pinkish purple color.

Answer:	Not that I have seen--I never left it charging overnight myself...I mean, in reality all internal batteries from laptops to hair buzzers don't like being plugged in for ages without use. If your asking if it will explode on the charger...no. May just shorten the battery life if you leave it for extremely long periods of times. Another charger might damage the ashtray, and the one it comes with is pretty cheap IMO, but I plugged it into phone chargers as well as USB 3 ports with different voltages and never had an issue.
